Nice to see Phil in the film, a key part in the success of Gamebore no doubt. Top bloke.

Dave, I need your advice. Shall I opt for 18,4mm bore or larger? I will shoot lead and steel. Will the fiibre wads seal in larger bores like 18,6. 18,7, 18,8mm? What about pressure in 18,4mm bore with steel? Don't be shy :-)

I've been using the Gamebore 20 gauge, 28gr #5 with the fibre wad and its been knocking them ducks down at 40 yards no problems. Great value cartridges.

I am blown away how unsophisticated the factory looks from the outside.

Quite advanced scientific method of measuring pressures. I had no idea....

Hi Dave , I shot some Dark Storm 36 gm 4 . for the first time on Exmoor this year and was very impressed , i'm now toying with the idea of swapping my regular black gold 32 g 5 for a 28g 4 for most of next season on our North devon syndicate . I found the added energy of the 4 really stops the birds , any bird ! Any thoughts ?

hi james stick with what you have confidence in, but the 28grm is a real hard hitter you have to be very accurate tho out to 50yd and above

Hi Dave. Do you actually have an Input on what you require a cartridge to do, or do you leave that up to the technical people at Gamebore.

I always have an input, i push them all the time, sometimes tho as Phil as proved in the past "less is sometimes more" we are now developing a 40grm - 42grm pure fibre for the really big stuff as plastic and even the fibre with obturator will soon be obsolete in the game field, gamebore are very good at listening to the top lads in the field and are not afraid to experiment with different powders and load combinations

Any good supplier will always take advice from the end user. The airtime you give Gamebore plus the success of your shooting and your videos is great for their products. Thanks for the replies to my questions.👍

gamebore should move to new america the way sig, j.p.sauer, fiochi, rio, etc. and bring dave w/them. lots of room here, lots of phesant towers going up. shooters fly back and forth for their business interests any way. just saying if Maxam and Cheddite are comming ??

Overrated and way too expensive, i shoot 20 bore nobel sport italia shells, they provide me with everything i need number 4 and 5 in 32 gram for high pheasant to 4 in 36 gram for monster birds and fast duck.
