So beautiful! I'm so jealous that you can get some of those editions at your bookstores! As someone in the US, only the regular black Penguin Classics are available at stores. The other collections/lines I have to order online. My favorites are the Penguin Modern Classics.

Living in the United States, it seems that most of my options are large conglomerate bookstore chains. I have Amazon of course, and Book Depository if I want to get my classic literature in beautiful binding. I do try to shop at local independent booksellers of new and used books, but there are only a few of them and their selections are quite limited. I'll have to follow your lead and be willing to travel to get books. Make a fun day of it.

I dog ear pages when I’m studying a book! A well read book is always full of annotations in my mind & as I buy my own books I can annotate them in anyway I like. I often have more than one copy too - one to annotate and one to keep.
