In the 1990's I had the honors of seeing David Copperfield in person, 5 years in a row. Back to back years, to this day he has me wanting more. Myself I enjoy performing close-up magic. Nothing on the grand Scale, magic for sure is a way of communicating, and drawing people in. Thank you Jeff, and Mr. Copperfield for this video
I’m so glad you had David Copperfield on. I saw him as he was becoming the best magician. He’s two years younger than me. I always loved how different he is in his magic. Your podcasts are really good, keep up the great shows. You are the best Ventriloquist that I have ever seen. Keep up the great work Jeff. Can’t wait for #4...
I'm dealing with cancer and I enjoy all the Jeff Dunham special. Everyone need to lol more and enjoy life even in our time of an illness. Jeff Dunham 🙏 you're the Best and David Copperfield.🙏
My best friend is a sign language interpreter and when I showed her Peanut's bit about messing with the singer I never heard her laugh that hard at anything in all the years I've known her.
Jeff Thankyou for the podcasts. David Copperfield is a true magician because he has not aged a bit. He still looks the same as he did when I started watching him when I was younger! Now I'm scared to look in the mirror!
I loved watching David Copperfield and missed seeing him television. Wherever he was on I'd watch. I was close in the age (20). I hope he will do one soon even if its only one
Saw David in high school when he came to Ohio. I was such a groupie. He is such a classic gentleman. Jeff keep up the awesome interviews loving this pod cast.
"Nothing wrong with ugly assistants" - Hasn't Peanut said something to that effect? Wow! Copperfield has not aged. I miss his specials. (Also one of the namesake inspirations for Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden.)
Another fascinating person on your podcast! Always loved David Copperfield! Just amazing! Thanks so much, Jeff! Looking forward to Podcast #5! Bye bye for now!👍💕👋
I would love to know what the hold up is on releasing a box set of all his specials. Plenty of people still collect physcial media and a whole new generation of people could appreciate the grandeur that is David Copperfield.
Just found out about your podcast on TH-cam. Watched them all in one day. I'm still doing quarantine, what can I say!! Absolutely love the way you put them on TH-cam so I can watch it instaed of just listen on podcast.
Seen Mr. Copperfield in Hershey Pa at the Hershey Park Arena (1st monolithic structure) many years ago and took my mom, sister and nieces and loved it. I kept the programs, but didn't keep the ticket. Loved seeing the faces of my nieces and mom and sister. Magic has progressed through the years. But the slight of hand and the close up is what amazes me more. When you say Copperfield has been around for many years, it is true, almost like my favorite singer Olivia Newton-John. She is just an angel and her face, her voice, her demeanor just awesome. Maybe Jeff needs to interview her one day. And Jeff Dunham is amazing to. I don't know how you can keep the voices going. I would love to have been able to meet Mr Copperfield back then, and to know who the woman was for the Trip to the Amazon illusion. Penn & Teller's Fool Us is one of the best shows on TV today. If you get a chance watch Olivia Newton-Johns 78 min 1982 concert Oct 12, 13th at Obden Utah. Digital
This is the best, most constructive conversation on political correctness and comedy. A genuine discussion and not two people just agreeing with each other, one way or another. Keep the greatness coming guys.
An interesting and intriguing podcast. Quite obvious both David Copperfield and Jeff Dunham have a mutual admiration for one another and what they each do. It was almost as if it was a dual podcast because David kept on asking Jeff questions back to show how even though they're in different fields of entertainment they both have similar issues regarding live performances.
I got to see him perform when he was up in Ottawa back when I was around 16 at the national art center, still have the t-shirt I purchased, never wore it, wrapped it up in plastic and kept it for safe keeping.. more then likely it doesn’t fit me anyways now.. lol... Can’t wait to see him perform again..
All I can think about when I hear the name David Copperfield is the skit from "Arguing with Myself." Peanut: They brought a bunch of deaf people to see a ventriloguist! It's like taking a bunch of blind folk to see David Copperfield................The elephant disappeared............... It just f#&$ing disappeared. OH, now he's juggling! You should see- OH SORRY!
Thanks for another fun interview, I enjoyed this one very much as I watched David Copperfield on TV years ago and was intrigued with his very cool illusions. Pity we are so far away from a live show in New Zealand, but there is, as he mentioned TH-cam.:-)
I remember David Copperfield on the Donnie and Marie (Osmond) show around 1977 I believe. That was the first I ever heard of him. He just kind of exploded from there into this bigger-than-life name-brand king of the magicians or sumpin - lol.
As a sort of creative person myself, I find my creativity can be like drinking from the same well day after day until I get bored with the flavor of that well or feel the well has gone dry for me. I then have to start finding new wells for me to drink from.
I remember seeing Copperfield at Arco Arena in Sacramento Ca when I was 11 with my mom. I’m 40 now, 7 year old of my own but I would still trip my own son if it increased my odds of meeting David and thanking him. I might even give my son a question or two. Thank you for the entertainment influences you both have had on my own career as a wedding MC/DJ. FTR- (Not the Wiki Wiki type DJ):) P.S. if David’s not available, I would also settle for Achmed. XOXO
I just noticed that David Copperfield is only 11 days older than me. What is sad about that is that he has aged so much better. Also I played around with ventriloquism and magic as a kid. At age 64 I am now working hard at becoming an accomplished ventriloquist. Thanks for doing theses podcast.

Great interview Jeff. Can we get a Jay Leno interview? Discuss entertaining, and possibly a little about cars
That is a wonderful idea Leno with Jeff & some of the boys. 🇨🇦🥂💥
@@marythomson7931 Which car would "Walter" drive? I like it!
I'm dealing with cancer and I enjoy all the Jeff Dunham special. Everyone need to lol more and enjoy life even in our time of an illness. Jeff Dunham 🙏 you're the Best and David Copperfield.🙏

I personally would like to see an interview with Tim Allen
i'm surprised Tim Allen and David Copperfield have not done a show together.....
Or Jeff Allen (not related) 🤣
Jeff Thankyou for the podcasts. David Copperfield is a true magician because he has not aged a bit. He still looks the same as he did when I started watching him when I was younger! Now I'm scared to look in the mirror!
Screw cancel culture. Do what you do, which is why we love your show. Those who get offended at everything should stay home with their pet rock.
Jeff great interview with David copperfield. I have been a fan of his for a long time. Can't wait to see you live. Thanks again.

I have been watching Jeff Dunham for years a cool dad

I'm enjoying your interviews of famous people. I wonder if you'd interview someone accomplished but not famous? ;O)
WOW that's amazing he looks the same as he did in 86

Honoring you three for all you do. Susie from Bluegrass Land

I saw david Copperfield on stage. It was fabulous...
I saw two of his shows in Phoenix as a high schooler. Got to meet him afterwards back in the day when you could do that.
Great interview!
Do he still have that beautiful smile.
I love David Copperfield what a fantastic person. I still don't know the secret if the disappearing Elephant. Lol gets me thinking lol
Did David Copperfield perform the disappearing elephant? 🤔
I thought Doug Henning did that ..
See you in Jacksonville. Got the tickets. Can’t wait.
You should have Brian Williams on the podcast
All I can think about when I hear the name David Copperfield is the skit from "Arguing with Myself."
Peanut: They brought a bunch of deaf people to see a ventriloguist! It's like taking a bunch of blind folk to see David Copperfield................The elephant disappeared............... It just f#&$ing disappeared.
OH, now he's juggling! You should see- OH SORRY!
Hey Jeff or Jeff’s Team please interview Tom MacDonald!!! Please please please!
Hi David and Jeff
Thanks for another fun interview, I enjoyed this one very much as I watched David Copperfield on TV years ago and was intrigued with his very cool illusions. Pity we are so far away from a live show in New Zealand, but there is, as he mentioned TH-cam.:-)
I think I saw david at the old civic center in mad wi. He and Doug Henning if I remember right were the bees knees back in the day .
11 world records!?!?!?!
I remember David Copperfield on the Donnie and Marie (Osmond) show around 1977 I believe. That was the first I ever heard of him. He just kind of exploded from there into this bigger-than-life name-brand king of the magicians or sumpin - lol.
Your killing it man 👍👍
Enjoyed the interview, not so much the intro. Looking forward to the next one.
As a sort of creative person myself, I find my creativity can be like drinking from the same well day after day until I get bored with the flavor of that well or feel the well has gone dry for me. I then have to start finding new wells for me to drink from.
I’m a fan I have your Jeff Dunham
Define magic.
Mystery, A way of communicating with the audience. Magic is an art form
That was great. 👍🥃
I remember seeing Copperfield at Arco Arena in Sacramento Ca when I was 11 with my mom.
I’m 40 now, 7 year old of my own but I would still trip my own son if it increased my odds of meeting David and thanking him. I might even give my son a question or two. P.S. if David’s not available, I would also settle for Achmed. XOXO
I remember watching his magic show. Thinking “I hope that isn’t as dangerous as it looks”.
YOU KNOW YOU MADE IT WHEN YOU GUESTED ON THE MUPPET SHOW.....LOL..
I just noticed that David Copperfield is only 11 days older than me. What is sad about that is that he has aged so much better. Also I played around with ventriloquism and magic as a kid. At age 64 I am now working hard at becoming an accomplished ventriloquist. Thanks for doing theses podcast.
I wonder if you can invite other ventriloquists like Terry fator or the girl that sings.
Hello from Delaware.
COOL😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
You need a bigger tv for your guests. Other than that I like your shows.
