4:56 here Italy 2 arrives at the ruck on the right side of the ruck on screen. He attempts to tackle england player that comes out and he goes around ruck and dont interfere. Ref blows him as offside. POOR POOR REFFING!!!
@@FRU.No.1 "A tackle occurs when the ball carrier is held by one or more opponents and is brought to ground, i.e. has one or both knees on the ground, is sitting on the ground or is on top of another player who is on the ground." but also: "If brought to ground but not held by an opponent: You have not been tackled; get back to your feet and continue with open play" So maybe the definition of tackle should be "...brought to ground and held..." Also looking the replay at 0.25x I can see his is back on his feet just an instant before the mates come to him, so as you correctly said no ruck and valid try. Anyway, this was very close, I saw TMO called for much less than this
Do you have the right penalty? That incident was audibly called as a tackle off the ball, which it was, rather than offside. Listen before you embarrass yourself
I looked at your shop. You do a fantastic rang of just 4 jerseys for France. I've got more than that. And your range for the Women's game is atrocious. I think, although I love Rugby, I will be "Don't Recommend Channel" today. And you are so obsessed with the Anglo-Saxons! Is that because they play dirty, and that is what you like, no matter whose career is ended?
Only in Rugby can you score more tries and lose. Make the penalties & field goal 2 points, that will make for an exciting running game like it should be
You can make drops 2 points. Penalties are supposed to be forced. Also, you can win with only _fgs_ vs. touchdowns in American football. Probably tons of other sports too.
we are far from being a top tier side.... i think we are showing some good and are improving but other teams also improving. We still struggle too much with reading situations and imposing our game.
Our Italian team has been steadily improving lately, and that's something to celebrate for sure for Italian fans, but England is quite shit at the time as well, so Italy definitely isn't "top-tier" regardless, I'm afraid.
Not that close IMHO, no doubt that last overtime try makes it look like that, quite deceptively. Still a good match from the Azzurri. Forza ragazzi!!!!!!
Proud of this italy team
Keep improving ❤

This Italy team looks so much better. New era for Italian rugby
Gonzalo Qusada has really changed italy
As a South African Citizen And springbok supporter full on ! Weldone Italy 🇮🇹 Amazing Rugby !!!
Thanks for posting
Man this ref is just blowing Italy into the ground with all those penalties. I support the springboks but this ref seems biased
amazing game of rugby
@4:47 "theres a gap opening, can they exploit it?" 😂
A lot of issues with a bow legged defense for England. Marler's lack of pace was made very clear with this new rush defense.

he goes around the ruck, goes offside and tackles the ball-carrier on the next pick and go. valid penalty
Wasn't Mitchell tackled before scoring the try?
Although his knees were on the ground he wasnt held in the tackle and no ruck formed so play on in that instance.

Yep it was. Double movement try. Illegal.
Doesn’t matter, if they aren’t held they can get back up
@@minimike30 Actually no. He was tackled
What a game! Good game!!
SIX NATIONS - “Where the bogeyman from the Southern Hemisphere won’t harm you.”
On England's second try, May passes forward but it's not on any highlights...
On the second try Mitchell is held and does a double movement... Getting back up.. should have been a penalty
probably because Mays not on the pitch
Italy's first try was a forward pass? England looked slow generally.
Same goes for England second try
Mitchell was tackled but got up and scored a try....
Staggering that they didn't check the blatant forward pass in Italy's first try. It's like the officials no longer care about the 1st rule of rugby...
He touch the ball with the legs so is not foward
No I'm talking about the pass before that.@@alfonsobentivegna8472
@@alfonsobentivegna8472 That would have nothing to do with a forward pass.
What about the forward pass in England second try?
@@Matt_Alaric why not? if hit with leg its a kick, not a forward pass. Nonetheless, england had a forward pass in second try, comments on dat?
England will have a tough game against Wales
Bravo Italia!!!
5:30 The ref points to Italy 3 as off side but the prop is still jogging from the previous ruck and behind other italian players. BIASED REFFING!!!

This is not the best competition let's be honest. The southern hemisphere has the 3 best teams of all time
Why does the England scrum half look like earthworm Jim 🤣🤣
Robbed game
Did your team lose to Italy by any chance?

Stop whining, it's pathetic.
Penalty goals opportunities should be reduce to free kicks

They lose cause England cheater and the refrees +TMO didn't called it. Mitchell try was illegal, double movement.
Yeah, because you can only score tries in rugby

Lets not turn it into basketball or draughts just so the team you support tonight can win. Would you be one of those (anyone but England chaps?)
Italy rushes inbetween eng 7:49 players to cut their ball off and calls them offside. Biased reff
😅
I really can't tell if this is because England have become so bad or it's that Italy have become a top tier side 🤔
