Hard work and discipline pays back Eliud. You are a great example to the emerging runners. Congratulations on the Berlin record, just perfect. Thank you.
Without so much natural born ability, no matter how hard you train, its simply not going to happen. Just check out the Paris 2003 5000m World Championships race. A certain Hicham El Guerrouj was the heavily tipped certain winner. How disappointing, only 2-05 for your first marathon, WE CAN ALL DREAM I SUPPOSE Mr Kipchoge was a young lad of 18, and he became champion by a whisker. Train Train till the Cows come Home, but becoming World 5000m champion in such illustrious company without Gods intervention Its not going to happen.
simply love this man..have such huge respect for him..such a legend in marathon running..a true legend..one of the most worthy athlete to grace the world record..:)
He is walking the walk when he talks about self discipline. He is worth many millions and he lives in a very humble living situation. Not many steps up from his childhood life I would guess. Material pleasures cloud the dream I guess.
God is really wonderful He can give you beauty for ashes. From a single mum brewing local brew to a 🌎 🏆 i bet she prayed 4 her kids nowonder Eluid has that faith.
I feel like watching this eliude kipchoge interviews but again I fear because I am a kalenjin too,I wish to give him my English for this interviews,I fear that anaeza tuangusha in suit, the only thing we know to pronounce is 'metal',medal hatujui
Don't be ashamed of him because he is confide with himself. English is not his mother tongue as long as we can understand what he says all is well. People pay more attention to people who who are not fluent with a language or break the words because they want to hear what the next word will sound like. If you were to be interviewed with him people will pay attention to him. Eg. If PLO lumumba was to give a speech and waititu people will listen to waititu
Av never come across a celeb who had it smooth in terms of good life, had both parents who surpotted his/her effort before the fame, etcetra etcetra, is it a coincidence or a trend, somebody? My kudos though to King Eliud
Kipchoge naomba Mungu wetu that you find it in your heart to inspire TCF (The Cluster Foundation) to also break its record..... www.theclusterfoundation.org #nohumanislimited
He is a very humble athlete, and very disciplined too.I really admire him.
Who else is here after Eliud broke the 1:59:40 barrier? #NoHumanIsLimited

Wow WOW great testimony,Your Mom is proud of you Eliud Kipchoge, and Kenya in general. 👏👍👌
I fan of you Sir kipchoge
I am also big fan of Eluid Kipchoge
Ap to Allu Arjun ke bhi fan ho
This man Eliud Kipchoge has what many of us lack, motivation and Displine
Eluid emphasized SELF-discipline. Not discipline by others!
discipline and COMMITMENT - i don’t think motivation is a good word for what he has
His authenticity is heartwarming, and his courage terrorizes competition
Agree...he barely competes..he fights with himself
Eliud am not from your tribe but i admire your humility and can listen to you the whole day, thank u very much for making us pround.
I like what he said: "The way you define your faith can make you great"
Kipchoge, a true champion. Someone who feels grateful to all his mom did for him will always be a champion.
10:28. Thanks for sharing. Blessings.

Love this guy! BTW---2003 WC----he won the 1500---NOT the 5000.
He won 5000 after an epic battle with El Guerrouj and Bekele
No. It was 5000

7:18 that's a loud fart, very rude
That's what you got out of this interview?
Who are the 4 Ethipians that didn't like ?? Lol
What is his primary language? He should not be forced to interview in English.
Lucy Foster unfortunately he's speaking to the whole world
I can still understand everything he says just the accent but he is okay
His Primary language is Swahili and Kalenjin his tribe language in Kenya.
But since he was speaking to the world it was better he spoke in English
