Stumbled across these electro swing dances. So happy I did. Found my happy place on TH-cam. Can’t get enough of it. You can’t watch it and not smile and want to start bobbing along with it.
Oh hands down its the last dancer Something something Forsythe Whoa can that boy move! Slick smooth scintillating style I could watch him all night He made it look so easy but i Bet it took long hard practice to Achieve his technique such grace & lightness on his feet, well done young man! A close runner up was Maz Smith loved his style, his hands in his Pockets for the 1st half of his routine was simple but sparkling & different. Very light on his feet like he weighed only a few kilos, both of these dancers were outstanding & miles above the others, i mean they were all great dancers but Forsythe & Maz were in a different league Altogether, Bravo Gentlemen! 🕴🕺
Forsythe is just a legend... Maybe it's nostalgia as I started to watch him like 8 years ago, but it's still unbelievable... I like his dance to Catgroove the most
I wish there venues that played this music. I love it and would love to go to a place and listen to it play overhead. You'd think Chicago would have such a place. This music to me is so roaring 20s sounding.
Yep... he's absolutely an incredible dancer. Self taught as well. they didn't showcase him much here though. I've seen this skit in a number of other videos. After watching him I wonder if he can actually walk down a street like "normal" people!

I love swing, just the feeling when your dancing that your having such a good time that it feeling like your floating whenever you become lost in the rhythm
I could be totally wrong, but I noted that this dance seems to be an extra visually effective dance for taller-than-average-slender-lean-thin individuals. EDIT: Glad to have opened a bunch of interesting and relative dialogue with my comment! It's a great feeling. ✌
If you practiced moving like that for hours at a time you’d be thin like that too. 🤣 its a very flashy dance, but it’s meant to be. Super fun if you’ve never done it.

I'm 62 but wanted to dance like this in my 20's but didn't think of all the different steps and did not want attention as I just waved knees and pivoted feet to move around and people would look like what are you doing? Because of fear of trying new moves to the music and embarrassment I could not express my own dance to the music as I didn't want to hog dance floors. My legs were stronger as I could do the scorpion which was to go hard up and down. I love this style of dance because its fun, entertaining and exercise at the same time to see legs moving to the music in different ways. It takes young strong legs that are willing to dance at this pace. The Walk of Life Video was amazing and took me back to see someone get to set a style of dancing which is entertaining.

I love it!!! I have always loved swing dancing (or, at least WATCHING it!) and this is the first time I have ever seen it mashed up with modern music and dancers. This is awesome! I gotta learn me how to do this!!!

It made me think of the wild dancing of the "Roaring Twenties" (Maybe you're creating another Roaring Twenties in this century) ....at least in style and dance. Also made me think of the monumental work of artists like Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell and Ginger Rogers...just to name a few...yet based on very current music. You return the spirit of FUN! Electroswing is hands down one of the most fun genres to see people dancing to.
Most of these sweet kids, besides dancing up a storm, are wearing hats. Almost like paying homage to Astair, O'Connor and Kelly. Too wonderful!

A style of dance I didn't even know I needed in my life. I LOVE Sven Otten. I've seen some of his other videos which are just an absolute delight.
