    I cant believe my life has come to actually being excited about towing trash cans!,..lol
    But to be honest, i tow a few each week. And its far better your way than wrenching my arm off.

    Will this work on a low hitch riding mower?

      Hey Dave. They have a flavor for hitch mounts, yes. Mine is a direct-bolt variant. The fact that its a riding mower would only alter the angle of the can slightly from the golf cart. Once you hit that link I provided, you should be able to see some of the other configs.

      My concern was hauling up a very steep hill. I found the Cansporter.com that looked to solve the problem, albeit a bit expensively.

      My hills are about as steep as they get & its no issue for me. I saw the one you referenced before I settled on this rig. I didn't go with that setup because it seemed like you have to lift the whole can off the ground to mount it. I used to do that with a sort of manual rig I had, but that whole lifting thing gets to be kind of rough on the back. One advantage of their system though is that the cans are more secure, so if you need to haul on unpaved surfaces, that could be a better option.
