With just over 700m front straight...it will be impossible for F1 cars to overtake here
because there is no intention or whatsoever to held any formula 1 race here. the purpose of building this track is for motorcycle races

The only video where the F1 22 assetto corsa car has proper gear shift. It's slower on the other videos made by other guys.

Wow beat motogp fastest lap over 15 second. But short straightline and just one make overtake less happen here.
How did you achieve this lens distorted look?
With Reshade effect called PerfectPerspective.fx, it's possible to achieve a fisheye lens

I'm actually fairly unimpressed with this circuit: It has a decent design but is quite generic, unoriginal, and perhaps too 'smooth.' Most of the turns and chicanes are generic and there isn't much variety.
I've raced many Formula 1 circuits over the years via the PC.
A circuit such as Sepang (Malaysia) has much more personality and varied turns many of which are extremely unusual and the track surface is somewhat bumpy and there's also some elevation change. As a result, Sepang is significantly more challenging AND fun to race; ditto with many other Formula 1 tracks.
Im Indonesian and I hate this track. It gives me an awkward feeling driving on it. They spent so much money deforesting and taking away ppls homes which is the worst part 😔, at least make a decent track with all the money that theyre spending

Developer were planning to add buildings around the circuit, will be similar to Yas Marina.

because it is being planned for some portion of the circuit to be used as a regular street road. I remember there will be a property or resort in the middle of the circuit, correct me if I'm wrong. The circuit isn't 100% completed at this time.

@@kitschiee actually it is exactly that. Monaco race is boring af fuck cause nothing happens. Only reason its there in F1 calendar is prestige and history.
@@RainingFlow19 But they can make a special layout for F1, easy, instead of building a new circuit in Batam, it will definitely suffer losses because it is close to Singapore, like what happened in Sepang
@@kitschiee and they should if they wanted. For current layout that track is horrible for F1 racing.
This track will suffer the same fate as Sepang. The problem with Sepang is that the tickets was getting bit too expensive so there werent enough local going. Doubt indonesia could offer better rate considering nowadays Liberty Media charge is around $50-75m per circuit. No way locals gonna buy tickets that cost over $150 cheapest.
