I stumbled upon your video as I am new to score lines and buying SVGs off of Etsy. You have no idea 💡 how awesome you are. I’m trying to do an exploding box for a baby shower and I couldn’t figure out how to do the score lines!!!!! You saved my sanity! Thank you so much 😊
I am so glad to hear it helped! By the way, we have over 80 free SVG files for boxes and cards at www.simplycraftysvgs.com/. We even have a free basic explosion box. 🙂
Hi great video! However, when i followed the directions then clicked Make It....everything turned white and showed up on the same mat to cut all at once. I was not able to select certain parts of the file. once I selected Attach everything highlighted....which probably sent it all to 1 mat. Any advice for that? Thanks!
I am speaking to files for Simply Crafty SVGs only. If you use out complete files, we have a video on how to use those. You do have to ungroup the files to attach the individual pieces. That is necessary for other files from other SVG designers too. That is located on our Cricut Help page. If you ever need help with our files, you can always contact us via out contact form. But it does sound like it may have needed to be ungrouped prior attaching the scorelines. Otherwise, if you attach a grouped set of SVG files, it will attempt to keep all the files together, thus sending them to one mat. And you will know it does that, as everything will changed into one color, if there are different colors. I hope that helps.
wonderful video, Thank you for this great explanation!
