Season 9 - ROUND 1!
In an attempt to push pig racing to new heights the League constructs a new course. For the pigs Christmas has come early as this new area has so many new things to eat and places to explore.
In terms of racing however this will be the most challenging course the pigs have ever faced. There’s no more flat ground and the wood has plenty of hazards scattered around. Of course, this is the first round so it will only get more challenging from here.
Piggy Smalls has grown a lot since the Paddock making the difference in weight between himself and the others even greater. Ginger throws herself into everything just like she always does but will that be the case for Bear and Pepper? Finally, it’s safe to say that Hoshi is extremely excited to be in the Wood!
As always, we want to thank everyone who has supported us over the last two year. Everyone here hopes you all like the new changes.

I don’t know how the channel isn’t larger either. I guess not everybody is a huge pig lover like we are. It was purely by chance that we found it back in 2021 in the third season because we were looking on Instagram for cute pig pics and videos and the League popped up with a race. After that we went back and watched all the previous races and subscribed to the League of Pigs channel. I’ve been hooked and in love with the pigs ever since but people I tell and have them watch a race don’t get excited the way I do. I just don’t understand.

League of Pigs is the best thing that ever hit social media and has given me lots of enjoyment and lifted me out of sadness and depression over the course of COVID for the year plus of being isolated at home. I’m thrilled to see a new season when I thought for sure the racing was over forever after season 8. The creativity, professionalism, humor and adorably cute videos are amazing! What a great video. THE WOOD really has a completely different feel and look compared to the paddock and given that the pigs are Kunekune it is indeed where they truly belong. The artwork is stunning and you have to watch several times and pause to appreciate the details. My favorite part is the pigs in the straw and bear’s most relaxed bottom scratch of the decade. 😊 But she seriously needs to unrelax on the track and find her spirit. In conclusion: Let there always be thistles! 😊

They're Kunekune pigs which are a breed that comes from New Zealand. In the language of the native Māori people of New Zealand kunekune means "fat and round".
