I'd like to see how it is in 1440p. The 4070ti is more than capable of playing games in 4k, but upscaling is necessary for new games. And even then, the performance drop-off is not worth it.
At 1440p high settings, it's around 45-55 fps, with DLSS quality it's around 60-70fps and with DLSS Quality with Frame gen it's around 85-95 fps. The card does play a lot of games well at 4k, and it's a pretty expensive card, especially when it came out. 1440p is amazing with this card though, and I expect the full game should run better at 4k too once they optimize it a bit more.
@@MrSupersonic2012 Supposedly quite poorly from the impressions. The PS5 will be CPU bound too, I was getting slightly CPU bound in the 1440p test with DLSS quality on, and that was barely over 60-70fps on a 14700k. The consoles have something like a Ryzen 3600 so it's going to be even worse there. Console players deserve a good 60fps mode too, especially for this kind of game. If they can manage to optimize it for that kind of CPU to get 60fps by launch then it should benefit the PC version too.
@XDDX_NZ They have got to stop making these games so poorly optimized. Seriously, people would be happy if the game looked a tiny bit worse and ran at 60+fps.
I just tried it in 1440p for you. At 1440p high settings, it's around 45-55 fps, with DLSS quality it's around 60-70fps and with DLSS Quality with Frame gen it's around 85-95 fps.

@XDDX_NZ Good lord. This game not being able to hit 60fps native 1440p on this card is INSANE. How the hell is this going to run on base model PS5's?

what are your frames at 1440p?

@@XDDX_NZ Thank you. Those are numbers I can live with and is what I played World at with a 3070.
Granted, I might upgrade regardless.
