Thanks for taking the time to answer my question last night, much appreciated. Hope all goes well with the upcoming OP. Take care and heal up well. Don't rush back until you're well enough. We'll still be here with DWP problems when you get back. That's one thing about the DWP ,they are consistent in being annoying one way or another.
No app needed, you can do everything via email, with an DWP account they set up specific to your claim, in order to fulfil whatever requirements. Set up a specific secure email for it would be my advice, when for example they need you to answer a question on something they'll email, it's all a bit going round the houses so to speak, but not too complicated. Once you get a letter saying need to 'transition', start the process asap, they give you a code to use when setting up a UC account. I use Proton mail for UC, it's secure and very simple to use. Good luck.
@SaveEarthPlsBeKind hi can I ask please I'm on employment and support allowance support group when I move to uc how many times a year the uc they will me to make review if got info please help thanks

Transitional Protection means you should be placed in the equivalent group and your reviews will be the same frequency
