Hi Scotsman in Tenerife . Just back from old town benidorm a couple of days ago . Watched your post of ians along with others . We were in Sherrys having something to eat and I nipped around to Ians and booked a table for October 😂😂 people were laughing inside the restaurant as I said October and it's January just now . We'll that's it booked . Just need to book another holiday now . But looking forward to it . Also when I went in to book , there were signs up , fully booked and the restaurant was full. But your allowed to have your table for the night when you book at Ians

I pulled in the brief encounter bar. Was with the mrs and talking to another couple. They were only friends and thought we were because I had a pink jumper on 😂 we all had a good laugh about it 😂

Went there last September food excellent service outstanding we have booked for two consecutive Friday nights in October as we are in Benidorm for the whole month…..can’t wait❤🎉🎉

Lovely part of Benidorm is, the old town. A real atmosphere about it. Was there last August great time... The new town (where I always used to go with the lads on stag dos and holidays in the 90s) really is a hovel though. Avoid at all costs.
tried to get in last October, this January and march.
Having tried to just book on spec the 1st time- I emailed about a Month before going on the subsequent visits. We still couldn’t get in!

I lived in the old town in Benidorm in the early 80's when I was very young but I had a great year living like a local.
good vid, i was very fearful of going to Benidorm as you hear so much bad stuff about it esp at night, but this vid has made me change my mind, did not think it had so many nice parts, so hopefully will visit one day.
Me and the wife had a lovely meal there ..when you book your table it's for the night you can take your time and really enjoy the food and wine.

I been to Benidorm Loads of Times I went There last September I know sherry’s Ian’s Restaurants I always stay in the old Town my favourite bar is coach and Horses now called fresh Top Quality food opposite dove park and Beach I will be coming to Benidorm this September I just can’t wait

been in there a few times Kev, its tiny in there, pretty good, but not as good as Paneils in the old town, Amigo's next to it is overpriced pessch. Das and Ninos on Poniente Beach is really good too. Keep telling you Kev, keep away from those gimp bars after midnight in the old town....😂
Ians , Absolutely exceptional , fully deserves its reputation , ..Ian himself lovely gentlemen and a excellent chef ,...seek it out on your first night and book it for your last , 100% reccomended ......its a place for that special occasion .

Ians restaurant it's fabulous have to book way in advance before you go on holiday but wow its worth it. Hospitality and food is fantastic ❤

Just pick a Hotel that serves good food have your accommodation and food there and don't go near restaurant's

@@ScotsmaninTenerife A bit harsh granted but you go in for a 3 course meal i mean Tenerife here by the way and unfortunately Benidorm has followed suit you order the meal the first coarse takes half hour to come you've had a couple of drinks and some bread same with the second coarse same with the third coarse and between the snacks and the drinks you have spent a big chunk of money not on the meal but on every thing else it had being designed that way the meal itself is for half nothing that's why if you ask for a main coarse they say no no and lead you to the 3 coarse meal and when you get home your credit card bill for food is as mine was 1300 pounds sterling That's Tenerife And Benidorm is fast catching up so yes a bit harsh but read what I've said carefully i like your videos by the way

@@jumi2559 Thanks for your reply and you are 100% correct you don't go abroad to stay in your hotel neither do you expect on your return to have a credit card bill just for your meals of 1300 pounds sterling as i did simply because of the way restaurants' operate always steering towards 3 courses even though you tell them sometimes you only want a main course massive gaps between the courses lots of mineral drinks and nibbles between the courses and after 14 days holiday on my own i have a bill of 1300 sterling plus I've given over a 100 Euros in tips and i very rarely drink alcohol Theirs a Trick in every trade you know so while i fully agree in what you said to me just read slowly my side as well Best Regards David

We have stayed in the area for years anytime we visit fabulous Benidorm. Ian,s caters for an English clientele and as you discovered is always booked up. No doubt that the grub is good but it's for those who "don't eat that foreign stuff"
La Bodeguita de Salva is by far the best restaurant in Bendorn. Called Tomas Ortùno. Tony Morans is a must visit wee pub. Firmly stuck in 1980 and as a Liverpool fan you should pop in. You would love it.

This is Spain check out my other videos I have been lots of places also , where would you class as real Spain ?
We were there 5/7 and had been last year,we are going again on the 12th,its a fantastic place,food is out of this world and not expensive imo ,quirky twist when settling the bill! Guys who run it great lads,we came out here on 3/7 for two weeks and made our booking in April this year just to be sure so that will tell you what we thought of the place!
thats only part of the old town get away from tourists and u get great Spanish food

Was going to book here in march but couldnt get in so we went to gusto in dove park. Omg they do a massive skewer. Steak chiken prawns rice chips serves 2 . Google it try it amazing guy who owns it
