  • I've been working out in California and haven't been able to make it down to our camp to stay the night or do any work down there. Erica, General and I took a quick little trip down to stay the night in the little cabin. I cut the grass and did some weed eating. I put the cap and the ball back in the first flush, so I can start collecting water in the rain barrels. The Apple trees didn't make it after the Buck scraped the bark off with it antlers. The Humming bird feeder didn't make it either. We left it out all winter and it froze and cracked the glass.

I would recommend 1000 watt or less inverter. With those 4 panels, you would generate enough electric in a month to take advantage of an inverter that size. Not to mention, just how much energy an inverter that big uses. I made the same mistake on mine lol. I have 4 250 watt panels, and 6 115 amp hr batteries in 24v. With my fridge, lights, tv, and charging devices, I still don't come close to the 1200 watts my inverter is. I have some videos how I figured it out, if it helps.

I am going to be expanding my solar panels, adding two more 100 watt panels. I'm also adding to the battery bank, and the charge controller. I have already purchased another inverter, 2000 inverter. Still bigger than my needs. We are only down there for a few days at a time. More than enough power for what we are doing. Thanks
