Thank you for this. As a Canadian I approve of the “Eh ?” reference.

1:09 off topic, but he sounded like Owen Wilson 😂
It actually helped to emphasize the use of “네(요)” and I’ve now made the connection that “네(요)” is basically the Korean version of Owen Wilson’s “wow!” 😂

This is so helpful! 👍 I was wondering about these endings so many times! And I love how Billy doesn't say things like "I've explained this a while ago, so I'm not going to explain it again". It's good to refresh our memories and not assume that everyone watches all the videos! 😄

Ah...finally I understand what 그렇구나 means. I've heard it from korean drama so often. Thanks for good lesson.

The endings people use all the time and learners ask about all the time! 👍 ~네요 and ~군요 are so confusing and not clearly distinguishable, so your comparison at the end must have helped learners to see the difference better! Plus, I can hear your voice getting tired from teaching for so long! So relatable...😝

I've noticed 구나 used a lot in the book I'm reading (춘향전), and it seems to me that the meaning doesn't always fit "Oh, I realized that...". Sentences like "내가 예를 갖춰 결혼식을 치르지 못해 미안하구나". What does 구나 mean in this case? (For context, it's always the young master character using 구나, talking to people of a lower status)

Hi, I have a question about this topic.
I was watching a video which Jimin (From BTS) says: 깨우지 마세요... that "지" what exactly is it referring to? Cause, I tried with different subjects and it always comes up with the same "지" at the ending, and the meanings you are giving in this video have nothing to do with the meaning of this structure, or it's just what I think.
    thank u!!!
