A very young little girl named Dixie who was hit by a car and is just a few days old. A sassy little lady named Foxy and a girl named Paloma who was found by a dog and in critical condition.

The Vervet Forest is a wildlife rehab series focused on Vervet Monkeys at the Vervet Monkey Foundation . The series showcases the process of taking orphaned and injured vervet monkeys through a foster mother program which helps these rescued orphan baby monkeys to be adopted by foster mother monkeys. The show is for fans of animal planet, nat geo, discovery and anyone who is an animal lover, loves animals and would like to be part of helping them get back to the wild.

I don't get emotional regarding animals...not that I don't like them or appreciate how beautiful or fantastic they are. These little ones bring me to tears regularly. Those dark, deep and big eyes...little hands, playfulness and community, those squeals when scared...I would volunteer with these amazing people if feasible.

That is the palest baby I have seen. I am always praying for all of the monkeys but today especially the last one.

OMG poor little one, I can only imagine how terrified that little one when the dog was carrying it.. So much so that there was none of that hysterical cooing when he was touched..
She was in complete shock and freezing cold. It was really a shame.

Oh man this little bundle of girls is super duper cute. You have to keep us updated on this bundle of Cutie Pies! I think Fox he's going to have no problem at all integrating into a troop, she's a little Live Wire. I'm glad Dixie finally figured out how to latch on, I was getting worried about her there for a minute.

They are so tiny.
Notice how gently they care for them. Notice they feed them first and do not shove them in cold water and fill face, ears, eyes, mouth and ears with soap. Please stop watching the videos that show these tiny creatures in dangerous situations where they are actually placed by the owners/stealers. They are not rescues. These are rescues.

I don't think its the first time, the VMF has been in operation for 25 years. But I do think it's rare to receive this many.

It sounds like you guys may have a record year, with the number of babies!! Just curious, what is an average year? And what is the current record season?
I'm not sure if this is your last episode before heading home for the holidays, but if so, Happy Holiday's to everyone at the VMF, and we'll look forward to seeing you in the New Year!!
I'm not sure what the record is but last year we had 36! crazy right? I'm also not sure about the average since this has been going on for like 20 years, but I know that the average has definitely increased over the last 7 or 8 years.
I head home next Wednesday :) Very excited, it's been over a year since I've seen my family and friends. There will be a new episode next week, and then I'll probably take two weeks and then put out another episode. But we'll see what's happening while I'm home, maybe I'll have some more time to edit.

Kyle said it best in one of his videos about why Vervets eat the crops of farmers. The monkey were there 1st then man moved in so it's not the monkey fault if they eat what he grows, if he was smart he should grow extra for the loss what the monkey eat. The monkeys will get full and move on. Poor little babies, to loose their mothers in such a violent way is totally uncalled for!!
