Discover the incredible first meeting between our founding partners Jay & Pita.
Their friendship was formed in 1991 when Jay & family visiting Fiji for the first time met Pita Matasau, the security guard working at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort who would introduce Jay to his family deep in the Fijian interior. Allowing Jay to have a fully immersive cultural experience which ultimately would change his life.
It was this meeting that would lead to the creation of Fiji's MUST DO ADVENTURE, when Sigatoka River Safari would launch onto the Fijian tourism landscape on 9th March 2006, only 15yrs after their fateful first meeting.
