Over $2,000 for a direct blowback AR-9 that takes Scorpion mags is really lame. PSA literally beat them to the game on that one with the AR-V and it's been out for like 3 years now.
I have a suspicion Classic Firearms deliberately leaves PSA products out of their videos because of competition and other conflicting interests. Always remember these guys are selling you something. TFBTV has much better coverage of ShotShow and reviews
@@BananaRaid Yeah, I know right?? Out of all of the classic firearms videos I've watched, I have literally never heard them talk about PSA ever. They don't benefit from talking about them. All about the $$$$$.
I know they haven't done shot show in while. But for pcc 9mm the Cmmg Dissent MKG9 is where it's at. Radial delayed blowback, Glock mags, super short, no buffer tube. Plus it has half bolt mass of most everything else so it's even softer shooting than banshees. Mines been super reliable so far & I've put 800 RDS through it
PCC’s are ridiculously abundant these days & i have no clue why you would come out with another basic blow back variant to add to the pile. The hydraulic buffer that the DD PCC uses can be purchased at your favorite firearms store i.e. classic 😉and put it into any PCC that uses ar buffer or you can also get one for AR calibers as well. I would have thought dd would have went with a radial/roller delay or something different…. PCC market is swamped and wouldn’t have been my first choice in design. Grand Power .45acp roller delayed was the perfect choice
@@CrazyLegz72 your correct, maxim has their new roller delayed buffer that is also available. The buffer I was referring to was kinSHOT’s 9mm hydraulic buffer that is in the new DDPCC which you can get for $154 bucks or so. I've had my Ruger Pcc since they first came out. They one where you can remove the barrel. There is virtually no recoil, it breaks down really easy for cleaning. And with the Glock mags, and the provided adapter, I don't need anything else.
I have the ruger pcc .40 cal. Takedown version and I love it. I put the glock magazine well in and a Midwest industries mlok handguard with a Romeo 5 optic. TJX my baby.
@@ramsey_n_motion Yes, they confirmed that they're defiently making it. Though, what they had on the floor was just a proof of concept. It was basically a printed carbine conversion kit replacing the lower that concealed the 5.7 Rock pistol slide upper. Mechanically, it was literally a 5.7 Rock where as the finial version should have a proper bolt carrier.
Unless it’s a sub machine gun I’m not a big fan of PCC’s, I have no practical reason to own a semiautomatic PCC. But if I were to get one it would be the Ruger PC Carbine.
I still think a fair assessment of what was best at show shouldn't intentionally eliminate one brand they don't carry. At the very least without saying so. If it's the best, it's the best!
These assements are very biased towards what they sell. Not actually based on performance or functionality. They put a stribog at number 1. That alone told me a lot about their opinions.
I'm surprised Matt didn't honorable mention the PSA AKV. They keep refining and honing their akvs and the fit and finish were pretty good. Yall got patches?
Why not go scorpion mags Kaya? They hold 35 and the mags are less than 20 bucks..plus it's nice to see something other than glock compatible..and that maxim defense is sick!!
I love that classic DOE 9mm carbine carry handle and all. I just picture it as a very serviceable weapon where you could have 20 lined up on a gun rack ready to go no red dot or grips needed.
Since we let the ATF make up a bunch of unconstitutional laws and now we need to sell things as pistols when they should be sold off the shelf with stock, suppressors, vertical grips, and full auto without any bs stamps.
I'm pissed that CZ discontinued the Scorpion. Now I gotta buy a whole extra gun just to have as parts. Buying the parts that may need replacement individually costs more than just buying a whole spare Scorpion.😢
I know this is the favorite on the list. I have heard so many things about questionable reliability with the Stribog A3. Currently I am debating between the GHM9 and the copperhead guns are known for reliability. What is your take on your favorite
My favorite was the next generation keltec sub2000 that folds sideways. No its not inventive but it makes a classic just that much better. I mean those things are perfect for a backpack. You want a lil extra reach and stability to make better shots but you dont want to carry a rifle around not even atke down one. Its perfect. Have a pcc everywhere you go.
I picked up a Wraithworks Warscorp9 pcc a couple weeks ago. It takes scorpion mags and ran good for the 250 rounds i put through it so far. I didn't hear much about them at shot show, though.
I like how if Clint isn't there, Kaya takes the lead as the moderator of the video. I like their list, I would have added the Kel-Tec S2K Gen 3, or the S&W side folder, though...
I know I couldn't have been the only one who picked it. I only picked it because it is a classic made better and it already has a proven history. No it not inventive but it just makes it that much better
I like all of these but the dd, beretta and stribog for the win. I have an MPX and love it. Any new pcc coming out just shouldn’t be direct blowback. 10mm over 45 any day. Besides you can shoot 40 out of a 10mm
Jason couldn't be less interested in a series. Probably because "his hands are too big". Take a shot every time he or someone else references his hand size 😂

Meanwhile anyone can just buy an AR Pistol in 9mm with a brace and you are good to go. No SBR Tax, no hassle (at least for now) and its got the same ergonomics and controls we all know and love. If I was looking for a PCC it would be an AR pistol in 9mm. Unless someone wants to gift me an MP5.

Stribog is an eye opener and deal compared to the CMMG Dissent.
Would the rdb system from Maxim work in a Cmmg banshee?
300blk pistols make the PCC obsolete
Man I dont know, while I love all of my 300blk pistols for their quiet operation I think I'd always end up choosing 10mm over 300blk myself.
If I am going to get a blowback pcc I rather go for the PSA DOE.
If i had honorable mentions they would be the AR57 and that Indonesian mp7 that shoots under water😮

Competing brands. They won't ever show full psa firearms.
PSA sells directly to the end user, cf gets no benefits from mentioning them. They would pay the same price for PSA stuff as you and I do.
I’m just trying to figure out how the DD PCC is a better choice than the LWRC IC-9…
If you all had to build an ar15 pistol in 22lr as a training weapon, what would your builds look like. Would one have a binary trigger.
Cmmg banshee to rule them all 😂
When is the pcc build series coming
Is the DD AR9 an MPX killer?

What about B&T APC10? I wish i could afford one!😂
