2 years ago i got my wife into riding. Last summer she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After 8 rounds of chemo, full mastectomy, and radiation she is cancer free. She was afraid to get on her mountain bike so we were on the road bikes a lot. Thanks to you videos, she has the inspiration to ride again , as we have been the past few weeks. She is just beginner but loves to try things that push her skills thanks to you. I want to personally thank you next time you come to vancouver. Thank you so much for your videos....they have truly inspired her to ride....not to get her off the hardtail...
I can't help but chuckle when you talk about the dust clouds. On another Channel we test ATVs. Our camera gear comes away so coated in dust period after filming some mountain bike trail videos recently we were discussing how much longer my camera gear with last if I just film to mountain bikes and not ATVs is a full-time gig. Love the videos.

I find my creaks tend to be in the pivot points, particularly the ones at the top of the rear shock. Definitely sucks to diagnose. Love seeing the Bronson!
Ridden DV many times, but only once have I NOT double downed for two runs and that was when I had mechanical issues half way done a run. 3 hr drive, 1/2 a run, 3 hr drive home. Still smiling because I wasn't sittin on my ass. Keep it up Brian

I like what you said about line choices . Before mountain biking got popular , there was a certain trail on Mount Diablo that has lots of whoops and jumps . The cross country riders go right past them . May they always be in a hurry to get out of the woods !

I had to drink river water as well. I was hiking half dome once and ran our of water. Gave two bottles away to some people who had none, ended up running out so I had to collect river water on the way down. Got it out of one of the rivers all the way at the top and never in my life have I tasted better water.... My crew was all like nooooo don't do it. But it was so good and I didn't get sick so all was well.
Dude, just spent a week in Whitefish, MT biking with some family. I must say, I learned a new appreciation for what you actually do in these videos. Was trying my best to keep up with my super-human brother-in-law (who is running fucking Leadville next month!) and found myself repeatedly reflecting on your mantra "pain and pleasure". dont eat lollies because they release their sugars fast and give you a huge sugar high then a super super low. try to eat things like bananas, they are slow releasing and good for you and leave you with no sugar low you will find rides and your mood will be alot better
