Very interesting! Back in the 1960’s we used to get steam train from Manchester Victoria to visit grandparents in Southport. Often went to these gardens and could hire rowing boat! Will revisit it soon!
Try and re-visit when the flowers are out the Botanic gardens are stunning and the plants mainly planted by volunteers!
The bbq smell is the local pet cemetary and their incinerator
