Natasha, I have to thank you for finally helping me understand the appeal of junk journals. I sort of understood the artistic idea from other videos but you have shown me how to deeply integrate the journalling with the art. I love that you entwine the idea of the ephemera, the sound, and the journalling spaces hidden away in unexpected places. I’m just starting to make the pieces now but have a plan for a ‘treasure book’ of my own. Thank you for sharing your inspiration.
@@TreasureBooks I felt inspired enough from your video, that I went ahead later today and made pretty dividers for the sections in my work-at-home meeting notes binder. I love the practicality of sewing, not only for decoration but also for reinforcement. And it was a better way to attach the little tabs I made, than glue. Fun
Another great idea, Natasa. I just loved your comment "We are not perfectionists here but if we are we are going to change that". Brilliant! I can't tell you how many crafts I have given up over the years simply because I couldn't make them "perfect" and one of the things I love about junk journalling is that imperfect is the norm. It takes the pressure off and makes it an enjoyable way to spend time. Thank you!
l0vE l0vE l0vE your comment, "We are not perfectionists here, and if we are, we are trying to change that." Lol! Yes! I am trying to change that! You are a treasure and a blessing. Thanks for another inspiring video. 😘😘🤗🤗🥰
As always, I enjoyed this video also. I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for showing the backside of the paper sewn elements. I always thought mine looked so bad and wondered what others looked like. Lol, now I know mine looks bad, and I need to make some adjustments to my machine. Thank you for sharing all that you do!
Thank You. I just took a break from trying to organizing my scraps into a workable mess. Turned on YT and there you are, I guess this is the best way to describe Serendipity. Thanks again
Thank you for sharing! This is such a great idea especially when you are in that mood of low inspiration. I appreciate your commentary on how such a random piece may not make sense, but when you add them to a journal, it just works. Yes the subject may be out of context but it’s the texture or the colors and shape that provide interest! This was just the tutorial I needed to add a different interest in the journal I’m working on now which I felt needs that something else. Thank you again 👏🏻🤗
I love your project!!! I think it’s very relaxing just to make art for art’s sake. The fact that there is a place to capture thoughts and ideas is also important. It’s good to pause and just reflect. Thank you fir sharing! It’s very inspiring. Your journal is beautiful.
I am truly inspired! Natasa you never cease to amaze me with your creativity! The thing I love the most is that you recycle what you have on hand. Thank you again.🦋🐦💙
You are amazinggly creative and your speaking is a poetry: fluent, friedly, inspiring... it is a plesaure to listen at your voice. Most of the crafters are a tragedy in theyr speech: an endless sequence of ahhhh, ehmmm ,awww... and no flow at all. You make a difference 🧡👏⚘
I love watching you put things together using things like what we have hiding in the corners of our craft rooms. I too like the sound of parchment paper... just haven't done anymore of these journal pages. Anyway, thank you again for the inspiration.
Yes, I too love watching Natasha's videos and she explains it so well, I even feel I can do them. Now the sewing is another thing, but I am improving on that with each project and love that you dont have to sew straight. These are simply beautiful. Loved watching it and will try doing it, too.
More great inspiration--you are awesome! One of the many things I love about junk journaling is that it really teaches us to see the charm in the imperfect.
Awesome , lovery craft dear !! Hate to be here so late but glad I could finally find some time to watch your video on this crazy day . They always make my day 🥰 thank you for taking us to your sewing machine . I love when we get to see you sew ☺️
I love EVERYTHING you create and share....using images from books and supplies we already have makes so much sense. I am going to make some of these journaling spots today! (It’s raining here...perfect, no guilt, crafting day!)
I have fabric scraps and a bunch of brown paper bags that I have been wondering what to do with, now I know. This is going to be my weekend. Love your tutorials Natasa.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am new to this kind of journaling and your tutorial videos like this one have helped me SO very much. I can’t thank you enough for this one and many of the others. I am trying so many new things, and using what I have, and looking at the things I have in new ways. I just love your channel. Enjoy your weekend. Catherine
I look forward to all your videos on my breaks at work. I get a mental break inspiration and ideas. I dive straight into my craft room after work and even if I only get one thing started it makes my day. Thank you

I'm making my first journal for a young girl whos graduating. I'm doing a few pages for her to see what she can do and also send her to some videos to inspire her. I will send her to this one. Love what you did. However, I will have to glue because I don't have a sewing machine.
These are very creative. I tried one and used a peacock for my focal point and it turned out beautiful. Thank you for this and all your creations. You do wonderful work.
Dear Natasa, I jumped to look at your video when I saw that you had put up a new one :) And of course you have a beautiful idea.
