Po! Band Maid has resurrected arena rock music. They have so many legitimate hits that they ought to be far bigger than they already are. The acoustic version of this song is a completely reimagined song. Saiki takes center stage with heart wrenching vocals. Even if you don’t do a reaction? It’s a song that you deserve to hear ❤️
Jynger, Now you need to react to "Puzzle", official acoustic video of the song. The fast paced version you have just reacted to is completely different from the acoustic version. While this version of "Puzzle" is a excellent hard rock song, the acoustic version, with only Kanami providing her acoustic guitar and beautiful backing vocals and Saiki, providing a completely emotional version of the same lyrics. Her heartbreaking vocals in the acoustic version really highlights her incredible vocal range.
So much great guitar work in here...and drum work...bass work...vocal work...backing harmonies work...but then these ladies always work hard - this was from their 2.5 hour long, 26 song concert.
This song has a special meaning to me. It was the second song I heard after Thrill back in 2018 and it's the first live song I ever heard from them that convinced me that Band-Maid was for real. The live version that I heard was from another concert, but basically the same. What I really like about this is Kanami just seemingly playing a solo throughout the entire song. You won't hear her do this in any other Band-Maid song. She usually does very short solos and is very unassuming in most of their songs. And with good reason. All of these ladies are extraordinarily talented. Thanks for reacting to this song!
Anyone who likes Band-Maid, or is a fan of Band-Maid, or is a certified Maidiac, owes it to themselves to experience IN FULL, both 2017 Shinkiba Studio Coast AND 2018 ZEPP concerts. None are better -- even counting the awesome 2021 Shibuya concert -- for sound, atmosphere, performance and song list! Thx, Jynger!
It's been cool watching you progress through the stages of listening to Band-Maid. I remember your first one, you didn't quite seem sold, but eventually if you listen to them enough it's nearly impossible not to get hooked. And yeah, I've been to see them at a festival (Lolla) and a couple of their full shows and there is no comparison. The fans are on fire at a full show and the band just feeds off it. In fact, it remains the only show I ever used earplugs because the crowd was so loud!
Puzzle is a great one from the Just Bring It album. There is a live acoustic version played by Saiki & Kanami only, that is both beautiful and heartbreaking. There’s also an earlier (2017 I believe) Studio Coast performance that’s a fantastic version. Good review, keep supporting the Maids !
Hell yeah! Back with the Maids! I highly suggest searching "BAND-MAID / Moratorium (Live at Zepp Tokyo)" for the video posted by Instrumental Maid (it's not an instrumental). It's their best song IMHO.
She said "I'm sure you don't recall, but that's fine with me" but it _wasn't_ fine with her. She needs dishes. All hers seem to be broken - and her heart. Nice tee shirt, by the way.
Its wrong and i know its wrong but these days when I think of BAND-MAID all I'm really thinking about is Saiki. She just gets better and better. She's so expressive now she takes all my attention She's becoming an entertainer She's just great. I don't know if you know the utube drummer A Yeon but one of her Avenged Sevenfold clips is i think her most popular video. Its hard to say her videos get views in the millions but i just thought id mention that because of the T shirt you have on. Have you heard of Dogma? I think you would really like them. All girls dressed as nuns try FATHER I HAVE SINNED or FORBIDDEN ZONE. Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺.
Someone explain how Saiki carries the tune? Mincho is all over the place being a virtuoso Miku is holding a rhythmn Akane is pounding out that driving tempo Misa is doing what Misa does best
Just love them - first band I saw live since the early 90's. Check out East of Eden - which will lead you to more extremely talented and classy musicians like Ayasa and Yuki.
@jamesgodwin868 It's good to have different opinions or tastes otherwise music would be just boring, I don't deny band maid are good or even great in the way they play, to me lovebites songs all sound different and cover the whole genre of heavy metal from slow and melodic ballads to heavy thrash, band maid are more heavy rock which is their best stuff, but some of their work is more pop/rock which is not my personal preference, but I get why so many people like it. Anyway I'll continue to love lovebites but I'll diverge to band maid in between. I also have a lot of love for nemophila who I see as my No.2. Band maid is 3 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
As good as they are, and they are very good, I personally, even though they're a different genre, can't help comparing them to lovebites, I think it's because both are seen as top level in the genre they play, and are mentioned together so much, but, b-m are a great band, whereas lovebites are a super group. Saiki has something special about her but compared Asami, nowhere near the level of vocal range or stage presence. But I reiterate, this is my personal opinion which I will admit is a little biased. 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
In my opinion,Lovebites just doesn't compare to Band Maid. They lack the originality of Band Maid. Once you have heard one of their songs, you have heard every one of their songs. I do acknowledge their super stardom but just don't get it. I admit to being in the minority. I guess by sticking to the same formula, over and over, they have hit upon that which is very appealing to many. Asami would do very well in the theater. Of course,I'll be the first to admit that music appreciation is very subjective-to each his own.
The thing I like about bandmaid is for the last 7 years they have written and composed all their music. But forgive me if I am wrong, does not lovebites have external writers? Asami may have a bigger vocal range than saiki but you can not convince me she has a better stage presence.
@@martinwoods1794 Most of their songs were written by Asami and Miho, but not all, Miyako has wrote some and Bravehearted was written by Haruna, so they do actually write their own songs. I'm not trying to convince anyone who is better on stage, like I say, it's my personal opinion, I don't dispute Saiki has a good stage presence, but Asami has the presence of a General. Again my personal opinion! Watch a few of them live and focus on Asami's interaction with the crowd and their reactions with her. Either way I respect your opinion, I just have a different view. 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
@gordonnottsfinest180 no problem. We agree to disagree. My main angst is when some fan of another band feels the need to comment on a band maid reaction to say that their band is better. Maybe some band maid fans are guilty of this also.
Loved your reaction. Saw a twinkle in your eyes that showed the lyrics did resonate with you. Ah, we all went there, in that crazy pursuit of love. You've got a killer smile, by the way😊.

Just so next level, what an amazing band. Bless you B-M 🙏👍🍻

Always a great way to start a day with Band-Maid! Have you done "Shambles" yet? If not, it's a great new song from Band-Maid!
It's always a great day when the lovely JyngerSlapz graces us with a Band-Maid reaction 😮
Thanks !! 😏❤️🎙🎸🥁😎🤘

Thanks to my impeccable nose for talent😉, did manage to snatch both Blurays before they were sold out. Treat them like newborn babies.
@@laughingbuddha2948 Great move for the collection, for the investment, and for the senses! 🤘😂
Good grief. does the singer ever take a breath during this song? Amazing!

Such amazing music coupled with heart-wrenching lyrics. A great song. Thanks for the reaction.
Awesome!! Specially the guitars 🤘🤘
Masterpiece - a exception song and performance.

As a Canadian I love that you have a trailer park boys poster on your door.
Band Maid -- kicking ass around the world!
You watch a Band-Maid video like I watch them, a smile, always smiling when I watch them. They are truly unbelievable, their talent. Jeez.
The greatest live rock band ever.
Just SO GOOD. Love this song so much. Thanks for the reaction!

She needs dishes. All hers seem to be broken - and her heart.
Nice tee shirt, by the way.
There’s an acoustic version with just Saki and Kanami singing harmony…..out of this world good b
Love these ladies and this was another banger! Hope you'll also do some Lovebites again soon. They fit perfectly after Nemophila and Band-Maid.

Puzzle - for some of us also fondly known as 'For goodness sake Saiki take a breath'
Reaction Dice n Hate live at Lollapalooza 2023
Dice in the music video format is also very good. I also like to suggest "One and Only", 2018 Tokyo Zepp performance.
Ciao Gorgeous Jynger, I prefer Lovebites, but Band Maid are also very good

Yep Critical Acclaim 79 million views. AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺
