The scientists compared bees to fruit flies, and found that a fruit fly has one eightieth the body size and flaps its wings at a rate of 200 times per second. In comparison, honeybees flap 230 times per second. This was surprising because smaller insects generally have to flap their wings faster to compensate for decreased aerodynamic performance. My flight attendants did this every time i was landing. I did have a reputation for giving spinal chord "adjustments" at touch down.....but Meh, nobody's perfect.
the crew was yelling ''brace'' and ''keep your heads down'' to keep passengers from thinking and acting desperate.Thats why soldiers in war movies scream all the time. Don't think, just follow orders.
Brave flight attendants and flight crew. The female attendant made me feel emotional because you could tell she was afraid but kept on doing her job. 💖🌷
The flight crew has to show a sense of safety and optimism, for everyone else to try to remain calm, even though they're horrified on the inside. Absolutely wonderful.
The way she's yelling "remain seated!" makes it sound like people are disobeying the order. I would be poking my head up just to see who she was yelling at.
Zari Ballard that's exactly what's happening. People poke their heads up to see who they're yelling at... Then they get yelled at. Follow the freaking commands. For that one moment in life: care about no one but yourself. Then you can help others once it's over.

Ive been in this position as a passenger. I was 12 years old. 2002. Flying South African Airways - Cape Town to JHB. Lightening hit one engine. Will never forget the plane flashing bright white. I couldn't even see the chair in front of me. Then pitch black with only the emergency lights and aisle floor lights visible. We were put into brace position. The captain counted down how many hundred feet we had to go before emergency landing. When he counted down to a certain height, the cabin crew started screaming BRACE ! BRACE ! BRACE ! like in the video. Pilot landed the plane safely and came over the radio to tell us he is retiring in 2 weeks. Ill never forget it. Thankful for having an extremely experienced pilot and brave cabin crew.
Dang that sounds terrifying. For me the scariest thing in the video is not knowing what altitude their at. If they're going to crash in 1 second or 1 minute
@Nick Giarratano so you'd be running around the plane like an idiot lol. I'd be calm. About to die. Nothing I can do. I'll just breathe and mentally prepare for soul leaving body lol
You guys don't get it. The point of them yelling isn't to keep people calm. Everyone knows something is wrong and that they need to be strapped in and ready. The point of them yelling instructions is to make sure at no point does a passenger lift their head, or break their position because it could mean their life with a hard impact. The point is that everyone on the plane is constantly hearing these instructions and knowing that it is imperative they listen.
Rippingthosecheeks Hey It’s not their job to care whether they’re being annoying or not when executing protocol. At the end of the day they’re doing this to save lives
+matt. Who exactly doesn't get it? Are you talking to random people's comments? They can't hear you. They left their comment already and are now watching cat videos.
I get why it said over and over cause if she stopped, im sure there’d be that few people who look around like “oh are done? Are we ok?” If ppl keep hearing that then they’ll remain doing it. Annoying I know but I’m sure at the time it wasn’t.
I suppose is because some people when they get scared they don't really think about what they are doing and a stupid thing like "running away from something" or not to feel "trap" on your seat could be something people could do in an extreme situation. Even when it isn't logic. We are here and we can rasone about what to do and how to follow the instructions, in that moment when you don't have time for anything ... is something else.
You guys are talking about the flight attendant who sounds scared and I imagine she is but the reason her voice is shaking so much is probably because she's on a plain that is vibrating like a massage chair
@@txmper7034 i wish i was up there in that plane and instead of bracing could walk up to the front rows where she stays and hug her, telling her it is going to be okay baby i am just going to smell your feet baby stay calm and brace. Most people don’t know that, but exiting an airplane can be deadly. For exemple, if there is a possible brake heating and tyre explosion, people can get hurt if they exit the plane, but be absolutly safe inside.
Years ago, all the cabin lights went out, the oxygen masks fell, and we lost altitude fast. The pilot told us to brace for impact. I was sitting in the last row with another guy. I looked at him and said "Look on the bright side. If we crash, we'll die last". A minute or so later the lights went back on, and the plane leveled off. At the hotel that night, it was all over the news. I think we lost 6,000 feet in altitude. Interesting night.
@@mn8411 If I remember correctly, all the passengers were very quite...a little sobbing, lots of hand holding. I think we all thought we were going to crash.
In some instances, people can become disoriented and forget where they are and what is happening. It actually happen quite often in stressful airplane environments due to lack oxygen. There are a few recorded instances of people panicking and taking off their seatbelts as the plane is crashlanding.
That is true. In situations like this, a person isn't always thinking logically. Add a decrease in oxygen and people can quickly become disoriented and panicked if not given constant instructions.

But we bounce right back when the pressure we apply is less. But, when born again, the pen goes the other way and the default is good. Having to put pressure on ourselves to go the other way again. "I'm not gonna forgive. Im not gonna help that person". Only to bounce right back because of the holy spirit's guidance. That is truly being born again. You'll know you belong to God.

@@julietorres7298 One study from 2005 helped explain the way bees get themselves off the ground.
To further complicate things, bees are also often carrying pollen and nectar, which sometimes weighs as much as their entire bodies.
So anyways yeah thats why God belongs to bees.

I couldn't even see the chair in front of me. Then pitch black with only the emergency lights and aisle floor lights visible. We were put into brace position.
