This technique in enjoying with the animal's brain oils is ancient, it's not the one that preserves it for the longest time but it works well. Not that he needs me to tell him, but it was wise of him to use it for soup (boil it) as that is the best way of any cooking method to kill off most potential bacterial or viral threats and still keep the meat edible. Simply cooking the meat over a fire would either result in insufficient cooking time to kill most threats, or result in burned meat while trying to cook it long enough to kill threats. Stews and soups are always the safest way to eat any wild game thanks to the extensive cooking (though even then, it is still not a guarantee of safety.. but it is by far your safest option in cooking methods).

Great video , very interesting! I am pretty That you could have used fat beside the brain to condition the skin. Even though I guess rabbits don't have that much fat... Thanks again for the video!
The fat will only make it harder for the brain to tan the skin unfortunately, getting all the fat out of the skin (degreasing) is one of the most important steps in tanning to this day. The fat would be best left for eating, since it's very nutrient rich and also tastes super good

Nice find! A free meal is a rare thing to get, good luck is on your side. Nice to see that you used the organs, skin and bones.
Keep up the awesome videos!

Yeah from other videos I have seen of tanning hide, people first scrape the hide and then apply the brain. It's then softened and such, and finally smoked to remain waterproof.
That was a beautiful rabbit 🐇😍it's worth keeping it's skin.
Good pm I'm watching from philippines stay safe God bless
giga chad
Hahaha
Once again a very informative and interesting video. Thank you for keeping your videos so fresh and entertaining. One of my favorite TH-cam channel's.
Oh, it wasn’t Mark Twain. “Necessity is the mother of all invention” goes back to at least Plato. Your variant, though, is first attested in Roger Ascham’s book on archery, Toxophilius, from 1545, which says:
"Necessitie, the inuentour of all goodnesse."
I've read also the quote you wrote but I found the Mark Twain quote also in several places. I can't say for sure because I wasn't with him when he supposedly said or wrote it.
I love watching you Mr.Chad and I appreciate all of your work
Awesome video as always, thanks for bringing us along!
When braintanning, it will make the hide much nicer if you "flesh" it by scraping the fat and membrane off the actual leather grain before braining it.
Loved the rabbit paws for luck too, keep up the good work!
You are as sickas him
@@deerohoza7584 how is he sick?
@@deerohoza7584 my dude. everything you are wearing, eating, the medicine you take, to the shelter you're under is made with some sort of animal product. depending on the product, it probably comes from a nightmarish slaughter factory harvesting animals. this guy limits himself to only what he is capable of harvesting directly from nature. if you want to take that road, he is morally superior to you.
what a chad!
It is then that Chad caught Lagomorphic Lycanthropy and became Chadwick Bunnyman. Some say he is still up in the mountains howling at the moon and running around preying upon the wild carrot population.
🤣🤣🤣
I truly enjoy your videos.i have been watching for since December 2018, still waiting for you to catch, hunt or trap something
Great video , very interesting!
I am pretty That you could have used fat beside the brain to condition the skin.
Even though I guess rabbits don't have that much fat...
Thanks again for the video!
Pretty sure*
The fat will only make it harder for the brain to tan the skin unfortunately, getting all the fat out of the skin (degreasing) is one of the most important steps in tanning to this day. The fat would be best left for eating, since it's very nutrient rich and also tastes super good
@@batfurs3001or you can render it if there’s enough and combine it with pine pitch to make wood finish
I love this channel I’m from Laos 🇱🇦 in south east Asia
9:04 - How to clean your hands in a primal way
some people will dislike the video because Chad didn't bury the deceased rabbit HOWEVER Chad is on a survival challenge and to survive, you need to take all the chances on your doorstep.
That's right, however the remains that I did not use I buried.
@@ChadZuberAdventures thank you for your honesty.
The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright,
But the wicked will fall by his own wickedness. - Proverbs 11:5
God bless you!
How many cameras do you have? If you only have one and you're changing the angle every 5 seconds, that's some dedication.
Yeah, still just working with one camera.
@@ChadZuberAdventures just one???? Bro you are a legend
I really love your videos so relaxing, have a nice night/day and please enjoy yourself!..
Well since you are posting this, I assume you are well after eating that rabbit. I look forward to your next episode!
Welcome to another video of chowing with chad
I love how he included a bible verse in his video
food videos are always the best videos
Can you adjust the volume of your voice to the background sounds? Your content has already a touch of asmr. Would enjoy a Balanced sound much more I guess ❤️ but I love it anyways
I've been working on that but there's not much narration anyway.
Adoro esses videos
wow i like the new minecraft update! also where did you get those mods? mainly just the shades!
Amazing series.
Bro he literally made rabbit stew, how is no one questioning this Minecraft reference
