Listen, we are grateful that institutions are beginning to acknowledge hip hop as a form of writing. However make no mistake: This moment is not a reflection of who greatest rappers of hip hop are, rappers whom kendrick listened to (like Tupac) and with a far more superior lyricism than kendrick. Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Nas etc. If pulitzer was an indication of who's the greatest, then all are deserving in their own right.

Stogie is a top-tier lyricist and 🐐in 🇿🇦. I don’t use the GOAT term loosely like every Tom dick and Harry. His skills are on par with lyricists you'd find on a 🇺🇸 top 50 list if there ever was one. Excluding sales, reach, popularity etc but only focusing on lyrical ability. Just my subjective opinion.
