Wouldn’t it be amazing if the allies have 2 teams during a game. The 101st airborne has to take care of the gun emplacements so the 4th infantry division can land ‘safely’ on the beach.
From the devblog: Instead of capturing points, you will start off by landing either on the shores of Utah or arriving by drop planes in the dead of night. You have to destroy a set of objectives with explosives in order to progress.
@@j.b.7520 awesome, thats what these tactical shooters need to make them more interesting. Add dynamic objectives that are actually interactive and change the flow of the matches.

@Dr. Fresh_2k Different game tho lol. Look at the images. See the little icons at the bottom that either have a red mark through them or not. Red mark means that faction does not have that asset on the layer.

it is sort of a bummer to think how heavily this game relies on the community. because if it dies it dies, and then there is nothing else to do when no one else is on it. that’s why i wish they would add a bot mode tbh, but they have said they have no interest, which i respect.

My only problem with this update is the lack of Sherman DD tanks that should be present during the initial landing. These were critical for the Americans on Omaha and Utah especially since the peanuts decided not to use any other of Hobarts' 'Funnies'.

Dr. Fresh_2k They rushed into D-Day. The game is lower quality than Post Scriptum and more fast paced. If you want a more arcade type of World War 2 game then go ahead and play it. Post Scriptum has taken its time into going on different fronts and is by far possibly one of the best Realistic World War FPS games ever.
Dr. Fresh_2k alrighty, cope with that bum rushed mess of a game called Hell Let Loose. I don’t see them completing any new Fronts anytime soon. They’re too focused on customization and fixing bugs in their game. Not even that optimized and just a shitstorm of a world war 2 genre game. If it was really a better game then I would definitely see a lot more people playing it. Post scriptum used to be bad but then fixed and optimized their stuff and now it’s way better than Hell Let Loose.

Miquell indeed, however HLL’s Normandy map was rather underwhelming. I managed to play it as I had a free trial for the game. It was pitiful, empty beaches and no Germans overlooking the beach. So we simply took a polite stroll up Utah...

HOW TO IMPROVE BEACH LANDING AND DOMINATE WW2 FPS GAMES?

this pach proves how effective is a beach landing in WW2.
We know that Omaha beach was the most difficult to breach. most of people do the beach landing wong because they only get to do and fail once.
While PS have the best beach landing out there, still lots to be worked on.
If I was developing this game, I would improve Utah beach and work on it hard,
then I would develop a new map with Omaha beach and other beaches being the centre of it, this way no one the such as HLL can even get close to the amount of content and Quality you will have with maps.

**Things to be improved in the beach landing.
- Need more gore, more mortar fire and destructive assets.
-static assets with continuous fire and smoke to improve War feeling visuals,
most of the beach landing is visuals and that needs to improve.
- we also need a flame throwers
- banlance is a great deal, but in so many occasions I was able to walk from the boat to beach without resistance or little to none resistance, (worst it could happen in the beach landing game) make it possible to proceed to the beach and make use of the great suppression system, have more crouch covers so they can be suppressed and have a chance to live, inexperienced players should get killed first and experienced players should be able to go through using this method.
-Put some machine guns for germans with limited ammo, so they can kill and enforce machine gunfire without holding those positions the whole game.
-DUST, SAND FILTERS, the screen is too clean, get sand and other artefacts on the player screen, this should be very easy to do, and you can have this triggered when an explosion or gunfire is near by, this should improve the feeling and visual of the game greatly without making drastic changings to coding and graphics, BF3 is a great example of this,
even after 9 years that game still looks great.
-increase suppression effect radius when on the beach, to compensate for lack of experienced players in most servers (you could have a trial period for this to see if works).

After improving UTAH Beach, launch OMAHA beach and other beach landing maps, you will see most of the community will comeback to Post Scriptum again with all the hype and sales will go out of control again.
Beach landing is one of the most memorable and powerful ways to showcase WW2 games, this is due to hollywood, documentaries and other things, so instead you could have many beach landing maps, showing each beach landing from different countries, and improve upon those as eventually, you will run out of great WW2 maps to launch.

Probably not. And especially since they are not backwards compatible.
What does backwards compatibility matter? The architecture of ps5 and xbox sx is mostly similar to a pc

Its because Utah beach is connected to the two other maps. They do maps that are connected with each other with a certain part of the war. Utah beach is what let to Carantan and St mere Eglise.

Weird? Because I'm playing all the time and lots of Aussie voices on coms, even has an Aussie server.
Sometimes the Aussie servers still fill up dude. Even then, playing on an American one isn’t actually too bad in this game. You’re not really punished for having a high ping in this game, as combat is usually decided by whoever spots you first and gets the most accurate shot off (as opposed to split second reaction stuff you get in most FPS’s). Should come back and try it again, you’ll be surprised. I know I was.
