Funny thing: In Germany you are not allowed to call vegan cheese or mock meat by the same names as the animal products. They lie about the nutrients, because after it’s been processed - only 50% of the nutrients remain. ALL of which you can get elsewhere. Thank you for your passion & dedication to helping people move towards a whole food plant based diet 💚💚💚💚🌿🍃
Ed! I am in Love! You are such a beautiful human! Small minds are concerned with the extraordinary, great minds with the ordinary. Your mind and spirit are a wonderful inspiration. THANK YOU for being!
The earliest source of the word cheese is from the proto-Indo-European root *kwat-, which means "to ferment, become sour". Which exactly does reflect the way plant-based cheese is produced.
Misleading customers? this is coming from the same people who got mad at plant-based milks , nut milks for saying they were milk and then change their name to plant-based but it's from a cow and it doesn't belong to a human, man these are some hypocritical individuals
As frustrating as this nonsense is, it's also a good sign. The mainstream animal "food" industries are nervous and losing business. In the end, I think veganism will prevail. I've watched veganism change, grow, and basically explode since I first went vegan in 2005 and I think it's only going to be exponential from here.

One more example of how utterly disgraceful the dairy industry is. Threatening a small independent business just because they're successful. Ed, you're absolutely right that anyone who reads that article ought to be appalled at the intimidation tactics of the dairy industry. If they don't, then something is seriously wrong with them. Also, notice how they've never piped up to complain about peanut butter. Oh, I wonder why! It's almost like it has nothing to do with warning consumers about misleading products, and has everything to do with trying to destroy small businesses that provide very popular competitors for dairy products and are set to be successful. Anyone with a grasp on rational thought can see that this is just a repugnant attempt by dairy industry bosses to protect the ridiculous amounts of money they make via their cruel, violent, unethical industry by threatening and trying to strong-arm any competing independent businesses into submission.
I would invite the people who made those accusations for a recorded interview with yourself, ed. this needs to be addressed in a way that only you are capable of providing. i'm now concerned that the dairy industry will manipulate the law system to minimize veganism as much as they possibly can and somehow get people on their side in the process. its disgustingly infuriating.
Excellent delivery, Ed. Thank you for the fabulous work you are doing. Great idea to have started a podcast! You have many, many supporters. The dairy industry needs to come clean, it is a truly dishonourable industry. Perhaps it should look into plant-based milks. It will save them.
The word 'cheese' comes from a very old word that means 'fermented' or 'sour'. Sauerkraut could be called cheese on that basis. Dairy cheese should be called dairy cheese so as not to mislead people. Whilst I'm about it, 'milk' does not refer to the excretions of mammary glands. It comes from an old word that means 'to rub' or 'to stroke' - the actions that get the liquid from udders. And 'meat' used to mean any food, not just animal flesh.
If the dairy industry is so "concerned" about the consumer, why don't they let us see how miserable the cows are treated in order for humans to steal their milk? They instead lie to us by showing green pastures and labeling these tortured creatures as "Happy Cows".
Kyle B you seem to be concerned though. im finding your comments and the fact that youre just going around showing off how bothered you are by vegans very entertaining... wouldnt you be happier if you just werent bothered by vegans? youre only hurting yourself mate.

I hate the dairy industry with a passion, & after learning the truth 5 years ago, vowed to (w/the help of you & others) help TAKE THEM DOWN in my lifetime. These animals are tortured so badly, yet they are such loving & docile creatures, don’t fight back 😢😢😢 One glass of milk has almost as much sugar as a soda! It makes people fat & unhealthy. They lie about the nutrients, because after it’s been processed - only 50% of the nutrients remain. ALL of which you can get elsewhere. Thank you for your passion & dedication to helping people move towards a whole food plant based diet 💚💚💚💚🌿🍃
love this! you're so articulate ! very good activism :)
Lovely! I didn't know about the vegan cheese shop. How wonderful is that! I'll be visiting soon.
Ed! I am in Love! You are such a beautiful human! Small minds are concerned with the extraordinary, great minds with the ordinary. Your mind and spirit are a wonderful inspiration. THANK YOU for being!
Thanks for calming me down Ed, that headline was grinding my gears, and again you present a perfect response, ahhhhhhh :)
loving this new style of videos! keep them coming!! ❤️
Good luck making a dairy milk bar taste better using soy milk 😂😂😂🚫🚫🚫
Hi Earthling Ed, is it still open today?
Thanks!
You are aaaawesome, by the way! Thank-you for everythjng you do!
Hahahahahaha, they are not scared of a few soy boy hippies not drinking milk. The population grows everyday 😂😂
Kyle B how much time have you spent expressing how much this all bothers you?? im only looking for your comments cuz its entertaining how much youre just hurting yourself lol. like no one here cares about your negative comments, youre just living your life in judgement. its no way to live man.
@@rabaroo6090 It's cool that you're my biggest fan.
Very well spoken sir 👏
3:34 I wouldn’t be able to resist stealing the babies to save them if I was there 😢😢😢
great work as always.
Hi Ed 😁 absolutely brilliant delivery of the truth 👏
Absolutely brilliant ,you are truly a legend ed .... thank you so much for being the voice for the innocent......may you forever be blessed.
2019......Year of the VEGAN Activist

Did you come up with that all by yourself or did you have all your friends work on it for months and finally come up with it? It's just so clever.
;)
Well done! Thanks again for all that you do! True inspiration.
Buddha said that if you stop eating meat then you are on your way to enlightenment.
Ed is an intelligent, reasonable, and gentle man. And handsome, too.
Love the new format!
- TheVeganHeathen - good point... they’re udderly terrible
My new favourite channel.
Here in Australia we have lollies that are called snakes! I wonder how many consumers think they are buying actual snakes??🤔🤔
Cristie Wanchap wh-what do you mean..?! 😨
Haha, Snakes are not as good as Squirms tho. IMHO 😃
I love your channel. Thank you so much for all you do for animals and for educating people.
First to say thank you for sharing Ed!
Excellent delivery, Ed. Thank you for the fabulous work you are doing. Great idea to have started a podcast! You have many, many supporters. The dairy industry needs to come clean, it is a truly dishonourable industry. Perhaps it should look into plant-based milks. It will save them.
I can’t even 😂😂😂 they’re concerned because their profits are dropping! I’m getting my cup ready for dairy fharmers tears. 😂😂😂
They're not concerned about a couple soy boys opening a fake cheese shop. Listen to what you're saying 😂🧀
Farmer tears are vegan.
Yey! Wooh! Beautifully put as always. You're a star Ed. 💫Thank you! X
Great Work Ed....thank You 🙏🏾
If the dairy industry is so "concerned" about the consumer, why don't they let us see how miserable the cows are treated in order for humans to steal their milk? They instead lie to us by showing green pastures and labeling these tortured creatures as "Happy Cows".
They're not concerned. You people overexaggerate everything.
Kyle B you seem to be concerned though. im finding your comments and the fact that youre just going around showing off how bothered you are by vegans very entertaining... wouldnt you be happier if you just werent bothered by vegans? youre only hurting yourself mate.
@@rabaroo6090 Soy boys have no say in the real world.
It makes me sad that I saw this person in the market once, while grocery shopping. I remember staring at him because he looked so familiar and then bam-- i find his YT channel a few months later and I could've made friends with another Vegan (for the first time)
Consider joining a local animal rights group (such as Anonymous For The Voiceless). You'll meet local vegans, do some very effective outreach, and generally socialize and mingle with like minded individuals. ✌
yesss thank you for spreading the truth!! 💚💚💚💚💚
I love you so much and it’s such a joy to watch you and the vegan movement grow
brilliant ed!
Damn straight!!! You rock Ed!!!
