    Bought my Gravely ZT HD 52 Stealth last year. 'Optioned' it up with a Greenguard chute blocker, Suspension Seat and Front Forks, Assist Pole, Stainless Oil Line, Upgraded Air Filter System,and Rear Hitch + some additional "personal touches" I do to everything!🤓 So far,I couldn't want for a better, more useable machine for my use!

    I just found your channel. I have run and operated Gravely machines since 2008, and I love them. They cut great, are relatively inexpensive to maintain and last forever. I run a proturn 452 and a proturn 352. The 452 has the 5400 hydrogear drive system, and the 352 has Parker drive system. You sound like you're a southern fellow. I am as well. We're located 22 miles east of Ft. Bragg NC. I subscribed and look forward to catching up on your content.

      @@BigSouthOutdoorsTV gravely was excellent to work with. I had a conference call with them after the GIE expo show in Louisville. Andrew who brought everything out let me do anything I needed. I plan to have them out to showcase more equipment after GIE this year.
      Which hydraulic system do you prefer?
      I’m located in Campbellsville Ky pretty much central Kentucky. Truly appreciate the sub and comment it helps the channel.

      @americandream_89 In all honesty, I have no preference. The parkers seem to have more lag than the hydrogear, but other than that, I have never noticed a difference. My first Gravely, a 2008 152 xdz had the separate pump/transmission system. I sold it nearly 5 years ago with over 6,000 hours on it. The man that bought it from me is still running it and he told me just the other day it now has 10,343 hours on it and still has the OG hydro system on it. That's why I run Gravely.

      You need a video on that. That’s a true testament to gravely! I’m going to send this to that Rep. May help him sell a mower. I’ve seen mowers with 5-6000 but none with 10000.

    The Hustler is a very smooth ride without a doubt. The Ferris ISX3300 and Toro HDX4000 with MyRide are the most comfortable I’ve ever been on. Everyone has to decide what is most important to them as far as budget, engine, warranty, and a myriad of other things. When it comes down to it, dealer support is probably the most important. I’m anxious for GIE this year to see what’s new!!!!!

    Hey buddy, Of all the mowers you’ve tested what do you think comes the closest to the hyperdrive?

    • @americandream_89
      @americandream_89  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DanielMorris-pz7im if your looking at 60” mowers for cut quality, I’d go get the XRide if I didn’t want to spend the money on the hyperdrive. If I had a horrible dealer for hustler, I’d go get a Exmark,scag or bad boy. I don’t think for the money you can beat a bad boy. Although I’d like to see one with 1000hrs and look at the deck hangers and a few other parts that concern me. What little I tested one the cut was as close or as hustler and ride excellent. I’d take Exmark over scag even though the turf tiger and cheetah rode better than Exmark. Exmark is a much lighter weight simpler machine and also has the adapt technology. If you’re cutting anything over grown often don’t get Exmark. I know that is a lot to think on but it’s hard to give someone a perfect answer not knowing exactly the grass type and what they are cutting.

      @@americandream_89 thanks so much man. We live here in South Carolina on land with about 7 acres that are cleared and needs to be cut. We have both a Hustler and a Exmark dealer that have both been around for 30 years. I have looked at both and believe it or not the high end exmark lazer Z x series with the 34hp Kawasaki cost more than the Hustler Hyperdrive with the 38.5hp Kawasaki. The grass here for the most part is centepede and the property is primarily flat with bumps here and there. I just want whichever one I get to last us 2000 hrs plus. Of course it would go in our shop out of the weather.

    • @americandream_89
      @americandream_89  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DanielMorris-pz7im in my videos we are cutting bluegrass and fescue so keep that in mind. I’ve never cut centipede so I would highly recommend testing both mowers as one may cut better than the other in that grass type. The hustler is gonna ride better by a longshot, especially if you get to flex Forks. You can also get flex forks for the Exmark and pneumatic front tires so keep that in mind if you go with Exmark. It will help the ride.

      I’ve seen both hustler and Exmark easily go over 2000hrs. Don’t let the dealer tell you on Exmark that the s and x are the same besides the hydraulic setup. The x series is so much better built. Things like the spindles are bigger on the deck etc. I know you didn’t say anything about a S series just giving you info
