@dxmikkelxb they are very very far from the shore, I'm from Canary islands and I've never seen a shark. Moreover, experts say that they don't attack here because of the water.
I saw one 400 metres away from the coast in Costa Calma Beach. An spanish man from the Hotel said to me that always there are some sharks. But they are only 30-40cm long.
That's not open water, right?! Lookes like kind of an marine museum in the beginning. But I have to admit, I've seen the biggest Stingray I've ever seen in September 2019 in the Atlantik there: th-cam.com/video/BsaWoH4U1w8/w-d-xo.html
I dont believe this video, i been to Lanzarote over 15 times and been to fuerteventura a couple of times when i was in Lanzarote, But on the other hand the water in fuerteventura is quite warm....
@TheBiouli-think its you who needs to research champ,when you say Whites I presume you mean Great Whites,they are prevalent in temperate water(not tropical) The Med is not known for Tiger sharks as they inhabit tropical water(Med=temperate)So I suggest that you dont comment on things that you dont have the first clue about such as this

I agree that is not in canarian waters but there are hammerheads and grey sharks in Fuerteventura but not man eaters

There are hammer heads of the coast less than a mile I have seen them with sail boarder just a few hundred yards away

There are no hammerheads any where near the canaries! The nearest would be in the Red sea. No tigers and no Great Whites either.

do not scare people.. No sharks near Fuerteventura Beaches. Outside on the open sea you can find anything as any big ocean.

No True. No is Canary Island, NO NODRISA SHARK NEVER IN CANARY ISLAND. That is A TANK (Acuatiun) no is Canary Island
No black tip sharks in canary islands...never...that's not true...we have here many kinds of sharks, but no black tips...
