The SDCC exclusive of Fortress Maximus had the same sword as the Japanese release and the Grand Maximus release just in a different color. Bonecrusher was a bulldozer and Scrapper was a front end loader. That Tidal Wave (Shockwave in Japan) is actually in the show accurate colors as was the Japanese release of him. The western version was that green color and it was used in the Dream Wave Comics. I agree with the one of you that says that Bumblebee should look more G1 rather than the Bayverse style. A low opening weekend isn't necessarily a bad thing. Word of mouth may pick it up but overall people are out of the habit of going to the movies. In the end it'll depend on how much it cost to make and market TF1. Bobby (the Bought) picked up the MS MP Brawl!!! 😱 oh wait, of course 😏 The MPU-1 Thrust figure had fairly good reviews. If they're doing all three coneheads it makes it more tempting but they're short compared to the DS Seekers. The FH Tidal Wave, overall, looks good but the knees seem off to me. Especially in that kneeling pose. Great show as always gentlemen

@@Norrisc761 Depends on what you mean by toy accuracy when this color is the color of an already existing toy and it is the original intended color. The only question that I’ve always had is why Hasbro changed the color for the western release?

Hasbro's version is less show-accurate because the Hasbro team thought there was already too much purple between the Decepticons on the store shelves at the time, and Aaron Archer was happy to make the change. And, by the way, the toys were designed before the show was. The show's purpose was to sell the toys, not the other way around
Here's my hot take on T1. As someone who prejudiced this movie as minion knock-off trash based on the trailers, I am glad I listened to other fans who saw the film. I was dead wrong about this movie. There's just a ton of positive buzz from fans on this movie all over youtube now, so listen to what these people are saying and maybe open your mind to the possibility that you might be wrong about the pre-judgements on this project. If you are Transformers fan and still refuse to give the movie a chance then you cannot bitch, whine and moan about not getting any quality Tranformers movie media from here on out. Just consume bad bayverse-like live action films they will revert to and deal with it because if this film fails financially, that is all you ever are going to get from here on out.

Obviously, this is totally subjective, but I am SOOOOOO thankful that you guys weren't in charge of character design on TF One. That Studio Trigger artwork is awful. The bizarre elongated proportions that are so reminiscent of TF Animated are a non-starter for me. Glad they leaned into an updated G1 aesthetic. Of course, that's exactly what a geewunner like me would say.

The MP silverbolt is toon accurate with the wolf legs on the arm. The sculpt is great but they need to fix the colors it’s too shiny in silver.

The galaxy toys megatron and reflector is micro-scale (Dr.-Wu) and not legends scale. They moved to that scale with Warpath.
