Our people have so many talents so many talents I am so proud of our people know matter what state that they are in all of the marching bands love everyone
So proud to have been part of an HBCU!! And most importantly a Bulldog. And especially part of the Marching 101. Best college life ever. We are the best band in the land.
Despite of all the unfortunate misfortune that “State” as gone through in recent history It does my heart good to see “The Best Damn Band In The Land” holding on to the Great Tradition and Storied History of “The Marching 101”.
Our band at SCSU was decently sized during the Sarjeant era and grew to be huge during the Ellis Era. After Ellis' departure in 2014, funds were cut drastically because the university was going through financial issues. I think the current band staff is actively trying to get our numbers back up or at least I hope they are. With the departures of FAMU, BCU, and NCA&T from the after the 2019 season, I think Norfolk is currently our largest Meac band

Nah. Dude was in the band but is in ROTC, and plans to join the military. They still allow him to March before inevitable deployment
