I was calling for this after the Michigan game, Moss just doesn’t fit in offensive scheme he belongs on a true pro style offense and from what I’ve heard Michigan is extremely interested in him, which I think is a good fit.
I have been saying the same. I think Lincoln stuck with Miller for so long because of the Juju recruitment. Miller and Juju will run the same offense and Maiava and Longstreet will run the same offense. Once Miller was benched/played poorly, Juju was really looking around for other spots to play. Those 3 QBs (Maiava, Longstreet, Lyons) are basically the same QB play style wise. Just varying degrees of body types.
You nailed it with your evaluation. You knew there was gonna be some lows but hoping there was more highs and get a projection of what he can be and do. Like you said, he got the WIN… now go get Longstreet. Keep up the Good work fellas 👍
I saw that too, he didn’t looked happy judging by his body language. With the win against Nebraska and Maiava running in for a TD, that was the nail in the coffin for Moss’ USC career.
@@htvlogs80truly sad for Moss. I still blame for Riley 3 losses, that put Moss in a bad positions. Riley needs benched! Moss will be a Trojan for life, but he is gone
Moss is too small & has a weak arm. I think his football career is over. Yes he’s smart, I think he’s better off being a coordinator in the future. Most QB who don’t really make it in college or the NFL make great coordinators.
I would like to see Riley put Maiava under center at times. The play action pass with Maiava under center and his ability to roll out, would work great in my opinion. Especially on short yardage too.
Excellent evaluation of Maiava. Statue Moss losses close games and needs a perfect O-Line for protection or losses are inevitable. Maiava wins game because of more upside rocket arm and mobility to torch the Defense with the running game
I don't entirely blame Moss for his benching. Riley could have better protected a 1st year starting QB (Moss), by running the ball maybe just 15% more of the time he started. Moss' great bowl game performance, was maybe a bad thing because Riley was misled by his performance, into putting the ball more in his hands.
2:39 He has to stiff arm a defender because he rolled right into pressure instead of standing in a clean pocket and throwing it to the wide open tight end. Please watch the play again and tell me I'm wrong
True… Moss does not have the upside that Maiava does, but Riley is the one who screwed Moss over. This is Moss’s first year as a starter and Riley did not put him in the best position to win. 50 plus throws a game with a young porous offensive line. The Michigan, Minnesota, and Maryland game, was all on Riley, not Moss.
This game really should have been 28-10 easy USC win. But Maiava needs to learn to throw the ball away or tuck it away safe instead of turning tbe ball over. 🤷🏻♂️
Miller Moss LOSES "close games" and Jayden Maiava WINS them. Riley should have made the switch EARLIER.

Too soon to make that conclusion. Moss was 1-0 in close games. Maiava is 1-0 in close games. However, I don't see Maiava losing the next five.
This is only the first game!!!!! They did win but still need to improve!!!
Ran the ball well, threw the ball well after shaking that dust off. Zachariah was balling defense was balling. And we have LONGSTREET. LFG!!
MAIVA - LONGSTREET - LYONS !!! Maiva may have just locked in the JuJu flip if is true he is looking for a promised QB1 spot as a freshman.

Hey, I love your USC content man. Your analysis is always informed, useful, and on point. Fight On! ✌🏾
Maiva was lucky...could've had two more turnovers. Tighten it up kid. Need to go 4-0 under Maiava so lets work.💪🏿🏈💯✌️

Miller Moss looked totally disconnected on the sidelines. I wasn’t at the game but just an observation. He’s gone.

I saw that as well, tough spot for him but he’s clearly done

He'd be a nightmare behind a Michigan OL.

I was happy to see Maiava’s flexibility. Love the content - keep it up!
Good evaluation of Maiava.

His gunna transfer to another school and give it one last chance I’m hearing Michigan is interested.
Have you seen some of the quarterback play this year? Moss will absolutely be a start at a power 4 school

Riley history is with mobile qb. So obvious
Miller fart on pillow Moss needs to goto teams with Great O-Lines
Seems like USC O-LINE played better with Jayden Maiava at QB
✌✌
I seen your comments in most SC TH-cam videos was Moss caught farting on pillows or something in the dorms at SC lmao?
@@NickMac91
Moss farted on his former roommates pillows, used roomy's toothbrush to brush Toilet, etc etc
Dude wear is your usc sweater at bro 😮😂
Riley showed that he is still one of the best play callers with a dual threat. Shoulda been 31 points with two turnovers from Jayden. It’s up
✌️✌️😎

Nebraska may not be good offensively, but they have a top 20 defense.

Moss didn’t fit Riley’s offense, Riley had to go with him. Moss is a pedestrian qb get over it
This game was a mistake-fest (from both sides), but at least we won!
