I was in tunesia in the hotel restaurant and i had a t- shirt from i love America (i have never been to America) one of the staff members said in a friendly way i have nothing against Americans but there will be some people who won't like that shirt. Met an arms dealer on a flight to DC. He goes to all these horrible places, but he said he doesn’t have any issues. No, he doesn't work for the government. He's a freelancer, so to speak. I flew to DC every week from LA for years. I met some amazing people with amazing (and scary as hell) jobs.
Hell, that sounds like going to Chicago,Atlanta, Los Angeles, Memphis and more.

I was just in Caracas Venezuela and I had a blast. The country has changed in recent years and people are extremely friendly. I went there with $10,000 and came back with $7,000 on a month stay in luxury!!

Why and who are all the Venezuelans coming to the U.S.? I'm hearing a lot of you tubers visiting there. They go to the bad areas and nothing happens. I see there is a mall and it's very beautiful with lots of free resources like fruits veggies beaches etc. I don't get it. The U.S. is expensive to live and there are not ways to sell food fruits that are free like Venezuela. A license is also needed in the U.S to be a vendor

I go to Venezuela every year and have a blast. Never had any issues at all. I've been to many countries that only a certain type of Americans are not welcomed and some are loved.

You don’t leave your country to just have fun, travel broadens the mind, you will be amazed about the real world outside of US. I’ve traveled to 67 countries so far and none are the same, the history which US doesn’t have is astounding and you learn so much. Staying in your own country is fine if you do not care to know the world but for we who Tavel it’s stunning to see the world away from shopping Malls cinemas Burger joints skateboarding and all the so called fun places. You learn languages and the real culture of the world’s people. Travel broadens the mind you will be amazed at the beauty of this world and its wonderful animals you would never see in your own state. It’s the best education there is, you will understand people also more than just American English speakers. I’m so happy I’m able to see the world as it is before it’s destroyed by the US government and Western Europeans .

As a Canadian we get mistaken for American all the time. I have taken to wearing a Maple Leaf t-shirt just to be safe.
When I was a student, I was hitch-hiking through Eastern Europe, and I met another..with a Canadian flag on his jacket and backpack. I assumed of course he was Canadian...but he told me he was American. He said it helped in getting a lift.

I visited Iran back in 2010 and I loved it (I live in Dallas). It was nothing like it gets depicted in the news here. People were openly saying what they wanted and doing what they wanted. I visited Tehran, Mashhad, and Isfahan. I ate kabobs until I nearly burst - best kabobs I've ever had. Most delicious pomegranates - huge, most delicious strawberries, most delicious black cherries - and the flowers smelled like heaven. Maybe I'll retire there.

In 1983-1986 being stationed in West Germany meant you could take a trip to Russia. We went to West Berlin several times. It was a very different time in history. I am from Romania, a country in the EU, and I need a lot of money paid and a mountain of formalities to be able to apply for a visa for the USA without even having a guarantee that I will receive it. I'm retired, with a pension of about 2200 dollars, I have a house and a family and I still can't be sure that I can get a visa to visit my relatives in Miami. Romanians died on all battlefields in the last 20 years to support America's ideas. I would like the Americans to be able to get a visa for Romania under the same conditions.
Exactly! But poor them that are not welcome in countries were they caused war and poverty... they really need to open their eyes as a society and educate themselves and get out of what was told to them that everyone else is in fault.

I can honestly say, there was not a country that you listed I would want to go to. I had a chance to go to Morocco free for a five day stay and I turned it down for a trip to Belgian. this was many years ago.

We have loved Americans since the colonies ,we helped during the independence war from Britain,the geography our history is intertwined with the USA up to modern times ,just putting it simple ,not politics not ideologies ,just plain love and today more than ever so many Cuban descendants who have been born in America makes it so especial

I would like to visit Iran . It looks like a beautiful country with beautiful people , amazing food and rich Persian culture . There are Iranians that I know that live US . They are wonderful , hardworking , warm people . However , due to current political situation , I would not even dream about going there 😢.
Hardly a list of desirable holiday destinations. Even non Americans don’t want to visit these places. It’s literally the most avoidable locations for tourists from anywhere.

I have noticed that where Americans are not welcome there a few distinguish factors: War/Civil unrest, poverty, Sanctions & high cost of living....Oh yeah, a few American bases & involvements in conflicts here and there....it's like where ever America goes other countires suffer.

In the past, I've been to a lot of those countries. Mostly because of my military service. But I've seen regular civilians over there in these countries. Some of the actual citizens were surprised that I was American. They said, " You don't act like an American. I asked them how Americans act. He said, "No good," "Don't blame them for the Americans who messed it up for other Americans over the years.
