09:40 fuck man, thank you soooooooooo much for this! I've seen all Brad's interviews and this part is just getting me glued. Thanks for asking that!! (watching the rest now)
Hey Brad we played together way back in the F-minus days i was in a band called Chump Change in the Bay Area. You were always a G. We played at Gilman, Ramen, Hazmat so thanks dude, punk rock changed my life.
@thepunkrockreview No thank you. For all of the consistent quality videos that have kept me entertained and have taken my mind off of a troubling legal matter that I am going to court over. Today is day 1 of clearing my name from an egregious defamation of character. I will hit you up with an email soon. I would rather not make it any more public than I already have. Much Respect.
I grew up with Brad. I just got off the phone with him. He went to Bushard School in Huntington Beach, and actually taught me how to play guitar and I guess later on he went on to play bass but he was first into bands like Judas Priest and Van Halen and all that shit and then he switched to punk around 7th grade roughly ,yeah we’re still very good friends!
@@thepunkrockreview absolutely anytime another cool little thing is if you ever talk to Brad again if you can remember we had a little band in our eighth grade elementary school called the destroyers. I Ronnie Schaffer played drums, Brad played guitar and we had a bass player Mike and we did Lynyrd Skynyrd Sweet home Alabama George Thorogood move it on over. Those are some classic times. I think he would probably chuckle if you inquired about that. Have a good night.
I read the book and was completely blown away about how much Brad was just like me and from the same STREETS but in the 90s. I am in recovery from drug addiction. He talked about being homeless bouncing around at hotels on harbor Blvd in Orange County and I never knew he grew up in my town. I am just a LOC fan thinking it was about NYC. It's a great book. I hope Stza experiences some recovery someday. Didn't really like some of his thought processes and rationalizations he had and believe its just from all the drug use. Still enjoyed the book and love what Brad did with it.
RIP Alec. Brad is a great person. Stza is very questionable.. Around 2006-(2007?) We happened to see Leftover Crack in Columbia South Carolina. We had been waiting for a train to hop out of there for days.. Found out LOC was coming to town, and we went to the venue early. It was on the outskirts of town, and all us dirty kids were sitting there, all these white rental vans pull up, and Stza hops out the back of one with machetes being filmed. (Lame 😂) Ezra, Alec, and Brad all hung with us drinking space bags. All Ezra wanted was PILLS.. Dude was coming down hard, and looked like shit. Long story short, they let us go with them to about 6 or 7 shows, and I had a blast.

The Sellout book is incredible. I’m not the biggest fan of all the bands but everything in there is great. It’s a must read.
Drums on fwt are sooo good

@@thepunkrockreview the singer from rival mob is in it.
I just got home. What did I miss?
Nothing my dude, enjoy the podcast 👊
I wonder how Stza is doing
To my understanding he is sort of bouncing back from the drama and bad behavior and playing solo acoustic shows, but I don't know if that's 100% true.
@@thepunkrockreview be cool to see then tour again. I think Ezra and stza had a falling out too. Stza doesn’t seem to easy to get along with lol
