My favorite part is the Travelers Factory store in the shopping center next to the Ace Hotel. I went to the Ace for lunch last spring but the mall was not fully open yet so I did not visit the Travelers Factory.

It is fascinating to see how different the towns are. If I take the train for the town next over, it will be pretty much the same stores as here. Some nice stone buildings but I think the muesum they got is a tad hard to get to without a car so.. not too much reason for me to travel there. In Japan it looks like every town/prefecture got it’s own thing going on. I can only thing of the three largest towns in my country that way. And they are too far off far much of a day trip.
