      Thanks for info. I Didn't know Hendrix had played with them. At my youngest of age the first songs I can remember first hearing from The Isley Brothers are : "Pop that thang" and "Who's that Lady?" I wonder was Hendrix with them then.

      Originals... yes! No doubt! I also like when they covered a popular song & put an Isley's spin on it. "Summer Breeze" or the beforementioned "Hello, It's Me," for example. Bottom line, you can't have a serious 70s soul music discussion without The Isley Brothers entering (if not ruling) the conversation. Period.

    The Isley brothers. This legendary group has been around since the late 50s. Also known as Mr. big, Ernie Isley the lead singer is the baby brother of his famous family. This song, as one of the most beautiful slow Jamz ever written. I love the lyrics to the song.

    Like pretty much everyone mentioned, The Isley Brothers have been in the game for a long time. They're one of the very rare groups that can be relevant in each and every decade they've performed in! Legends!!!!!
