Regarding not changing the thumbnail image for bestsellers, what would you classify as bestseller? Do you mean literally those that Etsy has labeled bestseller or just a listing that has sold a certain amount of times?
kinda both haha even if it doesnt have the best seller badge but its been selling a lot for you, might not want to make any adjustments unless your current thumbnail is against any of their new updates
@@helloeverbee I guess I was also asking what you classify as a lot. lol If something sells a couple times within 1-2 months of listing, is that a lot? Or would it be “safe” to change and try out another thumbnail in your opinion?
@@rhondawright22 unfortunately I can’t really answer that question because I don’t know your niche nor your competitors. I would do a little bit of research using everbee to find out what other people who have had a shop as old as yours is or as young as yours is experiencing, and then make your decision from there!
Thank you for the information, Question , so if I have a listing and i make adjustments to the listing pictures and seo will it affect the algorithm for the listing? I heard you said just don’t change the first picture, I thought I heard don’t touch it at all Thank you
Hey Leslie! I'm Kinda Sorta piggybacking on my question from the live - I see now that the duration of sales can't extend more than 30 days. So in essence, does that mean that >all< created sales are actually 'Flash' sales? Permanent sales don't actually exist then, right? We always have to renew any sales that we create? Do I have it now??
Hi Leslie! I subscribed to your channel a little over a month ago, and your information has been very helpful. However, I’m confused about how to calculate expenses to determine the price of my product. Could you clarify how to do this correctly? Another question is whether it’s better to upload listings through Printify or directly to Etsy. I already have enough designs for this Q4, and I’m both terrified and very excited to get started. I already have my account set up with Etsy. I know you’re a very busy woman, but I hope you can help me. Thank you!
@@Angela-hy5fg hey there! I would recommend doing research amongst the people who are in your niche and determining your pricing strategy from there. And also you can use the everbee profit calculator to get an idea of how much extra you should charge to be able to make a profit. The Printify question is completely contingent on what you are offering. If you were trying to do personalized listings, you need to do that on Etsy not Printify. But everything else technically could be on Printify if you want it.
@@helloeverbee Thank you. I do not have any personalized items yet, but it is something that I am working on. I appreciate your advice. You are awesome!
Hi Leslie reaching out again hoping to get in Q4. I am not getting noticed. Any advice from you? I have had listings up for over 3 months and nothing. It’s almost like a switch turned off. Should I wipe out my store and completely start over. I have adjusted banners everything. Any advice from you would be wonderful
@@ruthvilla5198 hi there! I honestly wouldn’t know without seeing your shop. But to be completely honest it’s all about whether or not the product is even in demand in the first place. And then the SEO strategy to get noticed and then the pricing strategy to get click throughs. The banner doesn’t really mean anything. This is just an extra layer of shop branding. Go make sure all of the first three things are aligned 😊
What about thumbnail image on ornament listings. I just changed all of mine to 2024 so the listings look current. Would you have recommended leaving the thumbnail image alone even if it had 2023 on the ornament? Thanks
I always enjoy your content

How long do you give a listing before you consider changing things if you don't get traffic.
30 days minimum, preferably 60-90

flash sales are usually around 72 hours or less!

Do you know if the under $6 applies to sales in Canada and Internationally?
I honestly do not :( but I'm sure you could find it within the links provided or by contacting Etsy support
