This is Adrian, Ms. Brigham's manager. We are friends with Milt and that is the story he related to us. He didn't give us any further information about Jerry, but he did say he was wonderful to work with. He also loved Dean. He said they were great to work with. Ms. Brigham's music director, right after he graduated from college, toured with Sinatra and has a number of stories of dealing with the "Rat Pack". It was a different time. We thank Jerry, Dean, and the others for those times.
Yep! According to Milt they all had to carry him off stage and get some wet towels. He said they were both wonderful to work with though. Actually my producer/arranger also worked with him much later on an album project, and said Jerry was very kind to all of the band and gave everyone special gifts when they finished. He says that most of the artists today just give out a free CD. We did it Jerry's way and gave out some nice presents!
The guy with the Michael Jackson style curl standing behind Dean is Milt Trenier, a good friend and still a magnificent entertainer in Chicago. Milt told us that they all had to stretch that final segment to fill unused time (live TV) and at the very end Jerry actually did pass out.
One of my favorite "ad lib" sections. (Poor Jerry! No idea that he really passed out...! But I'm not surprised, either. Wow.) It just cracks me up that he says "Oy vey." You don't hear that very often from Jerry! :)
This would have never happened if Lewis didn't cut one of Deans songs in fear of running long, well it turned out they ran short and had to improvise the end of the show.
Dean Martin (Steubenville, Ohio, 7 de junio de 1917-Beverly Hills, California, 25 de diciembre de 1995) fue un cómico, actor y cantante estadounidense. 106 AÑOS 078 AÑOS 028 AÑOS.
I saw Mr. Lewis last night at a casino in Louisiana, "An Evening With Jerry Lewis". During the audience Q & A, someone asked about this incident and whether or not he really passed out. He said he did not pass out, that it was just schtick. Who knows?

Both were very talented.

Treniers fantastic!
This is AWESOME :) Listen, younglings:)
I really like it & i even think that jerry is kind of cute & sexy 😘
Kind of??? :) :) He is super cute and incredibly sexy!
Also (sorry for the double comment) that would explain why Dean was waving "cut!" so frantically! He probably saw that Jerry was at the very limit.
Love..

This is May, 1954 not 1955 although they might have re-run it.
