    So I was glad to see that you you compared this with the Pd90. I do wish you would have done the beam shots in an area longer than 200ft. These are big time searchlights ad should be tested in a park, along a power line right of way, a large farmers field, etc.

      Yes I agree, I will find some open space and get some better distance shots, before I do that I'm working on learning how to edit and I want to upgrade my camera for night shots.

    Great vid per usual. Mateminco makes flashlights for enthusiasts, packed with features, one has to appreciate that. A little disappointed their lumen machine is a bit wacky, lol! Thanks again, and get some well deserved rest.🤟

    Nice video Sir, When it came out I wanted to buy it but I already have the FT03 xhp50.2 and I don't see much of a difference, they had to add more things to it but well Mateminco and Astrolux are the same house.

      Thank you. Yes same house great lights for the price, kinda wish they would do anduril 2 in their newer releases.

      @@smotheredchrome Yes, with andruil 2 it would be a monster.

    thank you, I have an Astrolux whatsoever, basically the PD90S SFH55. Seems the "N" has some more candela and a tighter focus, but while different, I think I will rather get another more different flashlight than the MT70. But my favorite Mateminco/Astrolux is the MT70. Might get a XP-L Hi version of that one, I have the 95 CRI SST20 atm.

      @@smotheredchrome i meant the small MT07, just a number flipped and it becomes another model... 🤪. Just remembered a real flashaholic summer problem, it just takes a while longer till the night is dark...

    I just got Mateminco TK04 (claimed 13500lm). I am a bit disappointed when compared with Sofirn sp33s (5000lm).

      What battery cells are you using?

      @@smotheredchrome He's going to need a good 21700 and some good gloves.

    • @smotheredchrome
      @smotheredchrome  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes especially if his sp33s is producing more visible lumens than his tk04

      @@smotheredchrome Yes, I changed all my lights to 21700 and you can see the difference but you feel the heat very quickly too, so is a personal taste.

    • @smotheredchrome
      @smotheredchrome  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      From my experience 21700 produces more lumens than the rest, I'm still testing different batteries and if I find something better I'll let you know but as of now 21700 for the win.

    What is your opinion of MT 70 vs an SBT 90.2 light?

    • @smotheredchrome
      @smotheredchrome  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally would take the SBT90.2 over the MT70 SFN55.2 just because the sbt90.2 can handle some power and ability to throw extremely long distances but coming with a higher price tag, don't get me wrong the sfn55.2 is impressive I'm new to this led so I'm going to extensively use the sfn55.2 and sfh55 and form my opinion, but so far I like the mt70 over the pd90s

      Good to hear. I just purchased the Wurkkos TS30S and I am quite pleased with the light. I have an FT03 with SST40, and the TS30S is much brighter, and seems to have better throw, as I believe mainly due to the extra brightness. I believe it does throw though just a bit better than the FT03 in SST40. Thanks for the info, was thinking of maybe purchasing this light if there was a possible advantage. I might purchase the MT 70 in the future perhaps. Thanks again for the information and review.

      No problem Thank you for your comment. I do have the wurkkos ts30s on my to get list.
