Big Lost in Space fan here, lot's of great childhood memories. When Dr. Smith flew into town back in the day everyone was at the airport waiting for him and gave him a big cheer! We loved this bad guy. I'd easily pay 2k for that hat.

If the appraiser says its worth 6 million - Rick May offer 20% up to- 50% to 75% even. If he knows it will be a quick sell and make 5 grand on a 15k investment he will do it. If its "worth" 20k but it may take awhile to sell - As many people find it hard to sell $1400 toys - so its worth - 60% to risk the reward of making $500 - When overhead of running a business nowdays cost enough, its all about maximizing profits risk and rewards.

This is a old video but I am still putting my two cents in. The helmet is in amazing condition considering it is over half a century old. When this first come out I would guess it was intended for children ages 8 to 10 so I'm surprised that they were able to get it on their fat head. Perhaps it had padding to fit a smaller head when it was new.
