      Happy new year Cynthia! I’m glad you love this cowl! It’s been a favorite of mine and glad I finally got around to making a video tutorial for it. The tea cakes are sadly very limited, so hopefully you can find them. They might still be available online, but they’re on clearance.

    Enjoyed this tutorial on the cowl. You could split the yarn and use 1or 2 threads to sew button on .

    I’m definitely going to micheals tomorrow I was going to go tonight but had other errands to run! But I have $15 on micheals rewards so I have to use it before February 2 now I know what I’m getting , some buttons and hopefully I’ll find some tea cakes especially in that blue ! So so pretty!

      Sounds like a good trip to Michaels to me! Always nice when you have the reward dollars as well. Hope you’re able to pick up the materials needed! 😊

    Love it! Thank you!!! (I do wish the camera would have been zoomed out at the end, to see better what was going on with each end.)

    How would I need to change this to make it for a 5 year old ?

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You will want to make less chains and less rows. I suggest making a chain to find out the length you need by putting in on the 5 year old. Then I would make about 5 rows and see if this cowl fits. You can always add more rows if necessary. I haven't made this for a child, so you may have to experiment a little. Hope that helps you to get started!

      I would decrease the pattern in half

    Hi Amanda. Beautiful cowl! What hook would I use for a 4 weight yarn?

    • @AmandaCrochets
      @AmandaCrochets  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I would probably use an I-9 or J-10 hook 😊

    I wish you would’ve shown a better view of it when it’s done up. Can’t quite figure out how to wear it.
