I used to be an exchange student in SDSU for one semester in 2019. I’m a foreigner and too shy to make local friends. Most of my time I stay along and just hang out on campus. But I don’t mind being alone. Anyway I did make few friends, and I did found a course attracted me so much and professor is so kind to help me. I have to say I miss SDSU so much, especially that grass, bench, turtle pool, Starbucks, fresh strawberries and milk sold from store, carnival night, Trader Joe’s, and so on... thank you so much to remind me of those nice memories. Even the trash can is just like I saw it yesterday. Hope I can go back one day so badly
I remember going to Aztec Lanes almost every day over the summer and walking over that bridge from the parking structure. I would play two games with my family/friends, play some ping pong or pool on the tables to the side, then walk for a bit over to Poki 1 1/2 for lunch or dinner. Beat summers ever.
this looks amazing!! I really want to go to this University and study abroad, I am from Australia and it’s a dream of mine to live in San Diego and go through the American schooling system and this video made me want to go even more!! do you guys have a lot of international students?
i was able to walk around campus earlier this year as a "tour", this was really helpful! also, does the campus always look as empty as it is in this video?
Thank you so much for this video ! I'm hoping to be there next year for a masters degree! :) cross my fingers i get accepted, they took down the GRE requirement so im super happy cuz for a sec i thought i had to go to CPP lmao
I always wanted to go to college in Southern Cali but most of the schools (USC, UCLA, UCSD) are super harder to get into, but I can get into SDSU. I was just wondering if going to college there will make it harder to work in new york city? I'm from New York and I plan on working and living here when I'm older, but will going to school in California make it hard to make those connections or get an internship in NYC? Should i stick to schools in the north east?
brsk obviously the alumni system is very strong in the San Diego region but there’s also so many alumni all over the country! It doesn’t stop you from having an internship/working in the city when you’re older, as you can still apply to internships/jobs in nyc & there are alumni/ mentors in the city!
Hey girl!! I love your videos about state so much :) I’m so conflicted about choosing it because I can’t visit before May, do you know anything or anybody in the ROTC program there?
bailey hey :) the kids that lived next to me my freshman year were in it & really enjoyed it! However besides that I only know that sometimes at like 5am you’d hear them chanting when running
I got rejected with a 3.67, transfer associate degree, and stellar extracurriculars 🤨. Yet I was accepted to USD, UCSB and waitlisted to UCSD. I think it’s because I applied for kinesiology which is crazy impacted.
i got in as a transfer and i’m so sad they canceled many events, i needed this! ❤️
same girl
Terra Celeste glad I could help🤍
me too. they just announced our orientation is going to be virtual too. im sure there will be some events a few weeks before school starts
Gabriela Cooper san diego mesa college

I graduated San Diego State in 2014. It's nice to see how much the campus has changed these past 5-6 years.
The best bowling alley is at San Diego State. only four dollars for non students at SDSU and $2.50 for shoe rental
Vince Ghio sooo much fun!!
