Damn, nice job Mani!!! These kind of analyses are so useful! I've always underestimated the benefits of knowing the route beforehand, I'm definitely going to plan (at least) the end route from now on! This video provides great understanding of why we need to focus on different tehniques and exercises depending on the body type. Learning like crazy thanks to you! Thanks a lot for making these videos!
awesome, very very interesting. useful for me who is transitioning from only bouldering to sport climbing. good to see where the rest are, how fast to climb, efficient betas, etc. thank you for this!
Thanks Mani! Very helpful to see the side by side and critique the strategies of each climber. Seeing how the 2 different individuals approach the clips and rest stance is very revealing. Thanks for all your hard work in your vids. Your a real contributor to the climbing community =-)
Thank you Mani! I really appreciate your insight for the analytical part of climbing. I'd love to see more of this kind of content, it's very educational. New climber here, and your channels has been and still is my introduction to technique :) keep up the great work!
Really good Video man, i´m so glad I discovered your Channel. Even though I know most of the things you discuss already, it is really helpful to watch this edited analysis. I would like to make such a video myself, to compare the movement of me and my friends. What I also like about your channel, is that it really motivates me to train, live healthy and get out there on the rocks! Finally I want to say, what got my attention besides the real good content is that you are authentic and you seem to be doing this vlog for the right reasons and not because you need the "TH-cam love". Still you got some now ;) Keep it up!
Thanks for the great feedback Tobias. You seem to be one of those who resonate well with the whole becoming the best version of themselves thing, and I'm really glad people like you watch my stuff. I will keep it up!
Hey Mani, good stuff as usual! I'm finding all your vids so educational! (How are you so knowledgeable?). Personally I love this analytical video, it lets me visualise what to work on. Would you consider analysing videos of pros doing certain routes? Maybe some pro boulderers or trad climbers, either individually or in a similar style to this with the timelapse - just a thought! Keep up the good work, you got my support you sexy man!
Haha thanks Ben, what a nice suggestion! I will definitely gonna try to get some pro footage for some in depth analysis, I would also be interested in doing this with comps. I'm not sure though how it will turn out with copyright and stuff.
I really liked this but I think it would've been helpful to talk about the climbers individually in the end of the video because it was hard to focus on both techniques. It was helpful to see in the beginning but when you begin breaking things down I could only focus on one at a time. Good work though. I hope there's more of this stuff coming!
Thanks man. I am a shorter guy and sometimes I have a harder time but very nice to see a comparison. I think it might help me picking up strengths and weaknesses. Sub
Man you deserve more views IM new into recombining doing a lot of bouldring atm its so fun i got alot of strenght but got to work on my technique could you do some videos more for beginners and intermediate climbers technique etc peace !
Great video and also great you are vegan! I wondered if you build that hangboard by yourself ( I guess so ^^) and if there is some kind of building-instruction. Id really like to work on my fingerstrenght (and maybe even pullups) at home, do you have any recommendations? Many thanks! :)
+Marcel Domke Thanks mate! Yes I've built it myself, without instruction. Important is that the rungs are rounded so that you don't shred your skin while training, and also that you have at least one bigger warmup hold. The rest is more or less fancy stuff you're not gonna use often :) Hope this helps
Was a hell lot of work to create this, hopefully you got something out of it :P
I watched the whole thing despite not knowing anything about this stuff haha, your videos are so comprehensive! :D
+vivaLucci Thanks Lucci I really appreciate that :D
hands down the most thought provoking and helpful climbing channel! love it.

Definitely helpful to hear the technical breakdown of how each climbed prevailed or failed. And how each approached the climb

Nice analogy. What type of rock is this? lime stone?
+Rice Binger Yep, lots of tufas and stuff in that particular area.
what are these different betas you are referring to?
Dude Edud Differences in the moves used to execute the climbing :)
thanks vegan rockclimbing!
