We live in the golden age of slingshots and SimpleShot is always there to provide you the very best products available on the market. The ideal latex for slingshots has a very high rate of retraction, performs well in temperatures below freezing, and has a predictable service life. In the last few years we have seen some outstanding bands from China and we have stocked them. However, they can often fail in random places with no predictability or warning and suffer performance losses in the cold.

Wow......I'm going to order some. Glad you got involved with the maker. I only use the amber latex for the reasons you stated but look forward to trying it out.
I love hunting with 3/8” ammo. Will be trying simpleshot latex.
just ordered a roll of a .8 mm today (i am used to shoot heavy ammos) , along with a scout LT and a couple of items.
Just have to wait, but i'am sure i will love them both, slingshot and latex.

So which direction do you place the pouch? fuzzy side towards the ammo? My bands kept breaking near the pouch, the band ends near the pouch were cutting the stretched band right by the pouch.
Either is fine, but most shooters put fuzzy side in.
If you are breaking near the pouch make sure you're not over-tightening the tie in or giving too much stretch on the band when tying.

Yes, this made specifically for slingshots and is very different than the original SimpleShot Black latex that we introduced in 2014.
Hey Nathan, this is Josh, love your content man. I have a question.. So I always buy and use the simple shot die cut flat band strips in the general purpose 3/8” size but I shoot 5/16” steel, so my question is would I be more accurate if I got the Target 5/16” size die cut flat bands?
Yes, you may see an accuracy improvement as the Target Shooting Flat Bands have a much lighter draw. This can help with accuracy.
@@simpleshot but will also decrease the speed and impact the bullet has correct?
I have not compared the two to be honest. You may see more speed as the thinner latex does retract more quickly.
Hey guys and Nathan, what thickness would you recommend with these bands with 10mm lead using single bands?
