ramone henry The rehearsal of the JDF surely paid off, great parade, the drum corp’s playing was really Spectacular and I get chills every time I Hear them play. Also congrats to the the lone female in the snare line.
As a U.S. Army Veteran I was an original member of the first Cadet Corp at Holy Trinity Secondary school and would definitely be a member of the JDF. Also as a former instructor I met numerous JDF soldiers who were students here in the U.S. and became lifelong friends. During my active duty time I made it a practice to visit with them at Up Park Camp on every visit home for vacation and will always be a supporter of my JDF. My wish is to be able to work with the JDF upon my retirement even in a volunteer position so as to assist in making improvements for our soldiers and police.
Colourful Ceremony. Thank you all for your time and sacrifices in National duty at home. I wish the entire Armed Forces good health, success and long life. May we witnesses many, many more to celebrates it
The ceremony was excellent. I am a proud mother. I pray God continue to bless and keep all the soldiers and I'll be standing in the gap for my daughter Private Cole A. God bless our land 🇯🇲. 🙏🏾
The JDF look very very smart on the occasion, those that are trained at Sandhurst and with the Royal Marines wow you can see the training. There are some sloppy moments such as not standing still, and movement after commands are given. So, we now need to see a squad or platoon from the Air wing taking part in these parades.
The flag protocol states that the flag should never be allowed to touch the ground. Why was it almost fully on the ground during the playing of the anthem?
I don't know if the churches in Jamaica know how serious it is for, JCF and JDF people that really fighting to bring back Jamaica to it's natural state, I believe in prayer and fasting for the JCF and JDF, that want to see good in the place, police them leaving they house 🏡 and children to go out to protect the law abiding people, and that why the people that called themselves Christians need to wake up and see what sin is doing to them and pray for the JCF and JDF peace ✌️ in the land.
Not a bad parade the 1 concern is that the parade commander does not escort H.E, it his aide and the chief of defence staff from the official residence unto the parade square for the presidential salute followed by the national anthem.

Living in America I wish our government was as professional looking as Jamaica. One complaint though, please get the flag from off the dirt it is very disrespectful to let your country flag lay on the ground.
I don’t know much about all the flags type or style in Jamaica, that flag on the ground is not the flag of Jamaica. There is a crest of some sort on that flag. I’m fully confident the JDF knows how to service our flag!

Congratulations to the JDF on a very impressive parade!! Great turnout. (Nigerian/ex-British Army).
This resembles the British Armed Forces Annual Trooping of The Colours.
That’s where the training and doctrine is from.
Tony Tone I know but we can definitely create a parade unique to us but it’s early and we have a lot to do. So good job JDF 👍🏾
Well that's why JDF have some of the finest looking uniforms🇯🇲🇬🇧

The flag protocol states that the flag should never be allowed to touch the ground. Why was it almost fully on the ground during the playing of the anthem?
Those are not flags those are colors
Thank you for the clarification.
Because it's a principle that comes from the Royal Salute. No flag is above the king.
first question : why you need army in 2020 ?
This I like!

No Bagpipes band ? Where are the SA80 L85 ?
Only SLR and M16 are used for ceremonies .Taller rifles are better for drill
