A real golden opportunity missed with Queenie Marshall. Marilyn Roger's is fantastic playing her. Really wish she had been in Wentworth for a second stint.
Marilyn Rogers is brilliant as Queenie Marshall, great character, I just wish she was actually in Wentworth as an inmate during this very dull period of the show.
I felt so bad for Joan when she heard Terri's laughter in the bedroom. Being able to watch the relationship within the context of the show has given me more insight than just watching those scenes only. I know Joan has done bad things but in my opinion she did not deserve that from Terri. I've always known how it would go because I've done a lot of reading about the show but to see it played out like this hurts even more.
It's a form of payback for all the heartache Joan has caused others (Bea, Sonia, Cass). She could have been happy for once with someone, but had the misfortune to get together with an indiscreet bigmouth like Terri. Joan can see the writing's on the wall for the relationship. I think they started to drift apart once Terri changed jobs. And that of course wouldn't have been necessary if only Terri hadn't blabbed so loudly at Wentworth. If she had just kept quiet and acted normal, nobody would have found out. She, not Joan, was the one who alienated her parents too. Goes to show that no matter how smart you are (Joan), the one(s) closest to you still drop you in it. Poor Joan :(
I don't think they have much in common either. Terri is a bit like Pippa: a bit spoilt, sociable and flighty. Joan prefers the quiet life at home with a book and doesn't like socialising. Joan is used to discipline and order and would end up bossing the messy Terri around. Terri would find Joan boring, more like a mum or auntie than a lover, and would inevitably start looking around for a bit of stuff.
I'm no fan of Joan, however Terry knew nobody liked her and still got involved. Oh, also you do not move into someone else's house and then have it off in their bed with another person.
I know!!, I am loving Queenie and her " Camp as a row of tents on a Gay pride campsite" Entourage !!!. Tiny is so funny trying to be mean & tough and it would be a hoot as a Gay young guy myself to be friends with Queenie I think :-) makes me smile and laugh each time I watch these episodes. It's great to see that back in the early 1980's that Prisoner was not afraid to show Gay characters, even if some are way over-the-top and camp ( as we all know not all Gay people are camp). Whoever decided to do the story like this and picked Queenie & her gang is just fab!. Great comments too here about it too ;-) Luca x

Terri and the Freak story is very weak. There is absolutely zero chemistry between the two of them. It seems like the most strained relationship between two women who couldn't care less.
