The Abyss Watchers in the game actually fought each others over a disagreement of which season of Abyss was the best one.

The first season was kinda Meh but it's the beginning of flame era so it's forgivable. 2nd season and up are way better. Except for season 5 where it suddenly have drangleic drama.
I agree, the four kings arc was so good in season 2 and Artorias absolutely MADE season 3, a true inspiration right there. I mean hell, I'd start a cult of wolf blood drinkers solely based on the fact that the man wore a wolf ring and then pledge my eternal soul to fighting the beasts of corrupting humanity for all eternity in his likeness.

It looks like a mix between something from Darkest Dungeon, Velstadt and one of the rhogars from Lords of the Fallen.

The abyss watcher “hat” is actually a helmet meant to stop vertical strikes from hitting you directly in the head, the point deflects hits
which is funny bc they're taller than most of the people who would want to fight them in lothric
I would like to see a hardcore Dark Souls fan looking at your drawings, that has to guess what boss es they are supposed to be.
i feel like they would've been able to figure out the first one, the second is pretty easy since there are very few bosses with lots of legs, but Velstadt would've been impossible to guess

Julia's version of Velstadt had some seriously spot-on stuff tho. The cloth mask over the front of the helmet and the halo of hands is *very* fitting to the Dark Souls style. In fact, if you took her design but gave him a sword and a tower shield instead, it'd make for an amazing mini-boss type enemy. "Veiled Crusader" perhaps.
What's really cool is that the Grave Wardens within the same area actually do wear face cloths too, so Julia's Velstadt looks like a super Grave Warden boss or something. And the best part is that she had no idea.
He seems like someone who would be in the mound-makers covenant, where he collects the arms of the people he kills to add to his mound of arms.
Attach another to it's back give different weapons, you can call it the flexile sentry.

“Partaking” is simply a formal way to say consume. However it also has the definition of joining a group activity. So, partake is more useful in this situation than drink because of the duality of its meaning. Not to mention the formal overtones suit the sanctity of the act. English has a lot of words for similar concepts with slight variations to suit mood, flow and aesthetic appeal.
I have two spooky suggestions for this month. Could you please draw your childhood fears with a modern (gruseome) take on them or a "Monster Mash-up" of creatures/villains from horror films?

Well, 3 of the Chaos Witches didn't get turned into demons. Quelana being just one of them.
There's also the one who's corpse you loot to get the Gold Hemmed set (and make Ceaseless Discharge very unhappy) and the one waiting right outside the Bed of Chaos
Tge corpse is that of quelana (she faked her death)
Also, that last one may or may not be demonic (can't see under the robes).
@@hansvonschreiber3902 All of the Daughters of Izalith wore those robes, not just Quelana. The corpse being one of the sisters makes more sense than the faked death theory because it rounds out all of the witches being seen in game

Draw Pokémon as antagonists in extremely gory horror movies. Examples being a Slasher Movie with a Gallade in it, or Poltergeist but with a lot more Gengar than usual.
Right, because as we all know Gengar was in Poltergeist but went uncredited because he really hoped to be involved in kids projects eventually and didn't want to be associated with horror movies.

@@nathanjora7627 It is dissapointing as hell, although I really love the design of the heide knights and the big ruin knights, I just wish they actually put more effort on the area bosses, we have one that falls to his death and one shitty Ornstein.

The abyss watchers fight each other, because the abyss has seeped out and infected them, so they end up constantly killing each other because fighting the abyss is all they know.
The Abyss Watchers was by far my favorite boss(es) in the game. I thought they were soo cool, so much so that I didn’t mind dying a few more times just to fight them again. Plus it had the cool two part fight with the cutscene. Too good. Never took off the armor after it.

Here's an idea for you. In "Bleach", every sword is also a spirit, with a unique name, ability and a physical form. For example, "Haineko" (Ash Cat), Zabimaru (Snake Tail) etc.
So, you could, judging by the name and the ability, draw both their sword form and a manifested anthropomorphic form.
I think that would be fun.

@@wovensystem1782 Actually, the zanpakto (I'm spelling it wrong most likely) do have personified/anthropomorphic forms here and there in bleach. I'm pretty sure Zabimaru was a hot chick with monkey fur "outfit" as well as a bone snake tail thing. And Ichigo's zangetsu was just a white version of himself.

I love the contrast between the two silly ones and the amazingly awesome one that Julia did.
It's worth mentioning that the Abyss Watchers have been corrupted themselves, and that's why they are fighting each other. Every one of them sees his comrades (and player) as a threat from the abyss and keeps killing those. But as they are undead, they are technically immortal so they keep resurrecting and fighting each other again and again. One of the saddest stories from DS3

Julia unknowingly drew a mixture between Velstadt and the Wardens of the crypt he resides in.
And I think Velstadt may be one of the only sane people in Dark Souls (he's not hollow, and his place in the crypt is bestowed with a light not seen anywhere else in the crypt). He is just protecting Vendrick from Nashandra, the queen. He does seem to have slightly marinated in the Dark though, but not much else.
