I don't understand why people think Ranbir is some great actor. He is good but nowhere great. His dialogue delivery, accents, physicality all remains pretty much the same in all movies irrespective of the character. And most of his characters are where he doesn't know what to do and then fi ds his purpose. Except for Barfi, I find all his movies just OK (they're entertaining but I am not wowed). And look at Ranveer. Every character he plays, he puts everything. Physicality, dialogue delivery and everything changes. Just his last 2 movies - 83 and Jayeshbha Jordaar. In 83 his cricketing shots, his depiction of Kpil was spot on and as Jayesh look at him dancing, looked exactly like how a Gujju man would in real life. Nothing against st Ranbir. He's one of the better actors but I don't feel he's anywhere near the top of the heap as everyone including the industry people claim.

Ranbir Kapoor was good in the movie. VFX was decent and some shots were good but the whole Vani Kapoor thing was just plain nonsense. Should have made the movie more darker and grittier and should have removed certain stupid comedy elements. Average movie. One time watch, however nothing to rave about.
I watched it and I forced myself to watch this movie only because of Sanjay dutt and Ranbir's performance. I agree Vani 's way of speaking clothes they looked so out of order for the period drama.. first 20-30 minutes was worth watching.. scenes with crows was made no logic..

Watching #Samshera is like watching KGF in 144p . What a pathetic movie. Director lost his direction. The crow is more powerful than the hero . The crow saves hero brings his crow army - what kind of imagination level and creativity. Screenplay is terrible. Very very bad songs. The movie tested my patience level. If you wanna go for historical accuracy women in India went out most of the time top less of with just one cloth covering their brests until the Muslims invaded where as afterwards to protect the women from the barbarism of the Muslim invaders they started to cover them up and started to keep them in home as a protective measure but in the south during that time things were still the same until aurangzeb abd ever then until the advent of the British rule things were more or less the same for Indian women as in South India the temperatures were much more hotter then in north so the south women were usually more free and were topless for most of the time even in public and it was quite normal in the north it stopped however after the sheer barbarism displayed by the Muslims during invasion and their rule
