AL right about twin plate clutch mate fitted a genuine twin plate to his xb couple 351 toploader . It was so much lighter than single plate and smooth. Bright a great place too 👍🇦🇺🍻
I'm unsure but I'm thinking that Brambles Red XW might be a Phase 1.5 when Ford started the change over to Clevo's. 2 lovely cars indeed. Both XW's Garry, the description is incorrect. Anyway good vid and thanks guys. Cheers Alan for taking us for a cruise via YT. A stroker gets your heart pumping that's for sure.
I like the reviews but without sounding like a knob. The Starlight blue is 69 XWGT & the Brambles a 1970 XWGT ( not a 71). I did notice Franks GTHO 3 title was a 1972. It's actually a 1971. Good showing garages. There is another 2 XWGT in Bright as well 😁
I cant believe im starting like the xw more then the xy. The windsor i like better too especially the phase 1. The clevo 4v is not good for the street at all
Another thing Now has has noticed and it was only a few XW GT's , that where the bonnet Scoop was fitted, under the bonnet had a couple of spacers fitted between the bonnet frame and the skin. It was only to stop the skin shuddering and leaving a gap there. Bet you never ever noticed that did you ? Take a look at every XW GT or GT HO in XW you see and see if its something that you see on all of the Originals ? I bet you don't. Just another thing to spot a Genuine XW GT or HO GT XW that you would not know about. I'm not revealing all the secrets to look for so as you know.

I actually preferred the XWs over the XYs. Just a better quality, better built, nicer car imo
Looks exactly like my Pops old 1971 XW GT Falcon in the exact same colour (Brambles red and black striped) he one lots of car shows, he sold it tho

I cringed at the reverse roll burnout
She loved it

Wasn’t my fault it’s a famous Xy now.

The Ls engines are the most boring v8 engines ever
