- Manchow soup one of the most ordered Indo Chinese soup in restaurants, here is a quick recipe by Chef Harpal SIngh Sokhi which you can make it at home and share with your family, easy step by step method....
Manchow soup
Ingredients:
Mushroom Chopped 3-4 nos
Onion Chopped 1 small
Carrot Chopped 1 small
Chopped Cabbage - ¼ cup
Ginger Chopped 1 tsp
Gralic chopped 1 tsp
Green chilli chopped 2-3 no
Celery Chopped 1 ½ tsp
Capsicum Chopped - 1 tbsp
Corn Kernels - 2 tbsp
French Beans Chopped 2 tbsp
Spring onion Chopped - 2tbsp
Black pepper Crushed - 1tsp
Soy Sauce - 1 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Slurry - 8 tbsp(corn flour 2 tbsp +water 4 tbsp)
Fried Noodles - for garnish
Water 4 cups
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method:-
Heat oil in a pan add ginger, garlic, green chilli and celery and sauté well. Now add chopped onion and sauté until transparent.
Then add cabbage chopped, carrot, capsicum, corn, french beans and mushroom and sauté for 1-2 mints.
Add salt and pepper and mix well.
Now add 4 cups of water and mix well.
Now add soya sauce, vinegar and mix well.
Add slurry and bring the soup to a boil . Lastly add chopped spring onion mix well.
Remove it in a serving bowl, garnish with fried noodles and spring onion and serve hot.

Hello harpal Singh sokhi. This looks more tasty than the supermarket noodle soup. I think one day I should make your noodle soup recipe as it looks so delicious too eat and cook. I love all the vegetables that you put into making your dish. I think I should make your recipe. The supermarket version is a load of rubbish. But your dish is fresh and full of flavour and with fresh ingredients. This looks more healthy than the supermarket one.

🙏 south indianised version of this or the tibetian thukpa... 🙏 for old people without dentures is ...carrot tomato beans white n yellow pumpkin, chow chow, little yellow moong, pressure cook, puree, give thaduka jeera or saunf with hing, pinch of rasam powder, pour in puree, add salt, barley water, coriander , one pinch jaggery powder, make frothy n switch off. ...take a oval.plate. or halwa plate. Fried noodles are boiled noodles dusted with flour and then fried.Yes you can add veg stock

How is it different than hot and sour soup? Both of your recipes and ingredients are exactly same except the fried noodles you added at the end

You can use vegetable oil.
chefharpalsingh mustard oil is okay ? I have little knowledge about kitchen things mainly oils for cooking. Idk if different oils are used for different foods or just mustard oil can be used for all kind of cooking.
